When Lu Ziyan wheeled out of the mansion and to Kai Xin, he was surprised to see Xiao Lei dressed in a completely different dress.
"She's quite pretty..." Lu Ziyan mumbled before turning to Kai Xin. Passing her a plate of fruits, he said with a smirk, "Your Highness, your food..."
"Hehe..." Kai Xin chuckled softly as she took the plate from him. When she texted him earlier to ask about his whereabouts, he replied "talking to someone, near the kitchen". Since she couldn't eat any of the food on the buffet tables, she jokingly asked him to bring some fruits from the kitchen. "I was just joking about the fruits..."
"I was inside anyway..." Lu Ziyan shrugged. When he saw Angela Zhang, he smiled and nodded at her. "Hi, Angela. Are you having a good time here?"
"Hi..." Angela Zhang replied with a gentle smile and nodded. She then turned to Kai Xin and said, "I saw someone I know. Do you mind if I go say hi?"
