The next morning Cali could not even dare to look Rui straight in the eye after that passionate and intimate dream with the man whose voice was like his. Though she did not even know who the man was but for some reason she felt shy and was almost blushing when she saw her handsome doctor bringing breakfast for her on the table.
She was so quiet during breakfast that Rui started suspecting that something was wrong. He felt it strange, when Cali was quiet all throughout the way to school and even didn't look into his eyes even once since morning. When they arrived at the school, she quickly picked her bag up and opened the door to her side.
"I'll go first." Cali whispered but Rui held her arm and stopped her from going out of the car. Cali's nerves suddenly jolted by his touch and she silently wished she could run away from him as soon as possible.
"Wait. Are you alright?" He asked.
Cali gave him a half smile and said, "Yeah I'm good."
