I was only 15 years old when the one decision that would change my whole life was presented. Well not that it was much of a decision. I'm the only daughter of my family, the middle child, and also happens to be the "perfect" killing machine.

My family is sort of complicated, we run a bussiness consisting of mercenaries. Both my older and younger brothers are allowed to run free and do what they desire. But me I'm viewed as a prized possession since my potential was first discovered. Both my parents kept me on a tight leash, both literally and metaphorically. You see were not your ordinary humans, no we're a pack of wolves, and a pure-blooded at that. One of the last five packs left.

I guess you could say we're pretty high up on the ranking system. No one dares to mess with us, not the half breeds, not the humans and definitely not the other pure-blood packs. They all need what we offer; whether its protecting, killing, obtaining objects, or escorting we have it.

I haven't even properly introduced myself; my name is Athena, just that. No last name, makes me less of a living thing. But what can I say it's my parents decisions. That's my regular name at least to those who we are allied with, to the others I'm known as "Reaper". I was killing since the age of eight, nobody other than my family knew my true identity. After all no one is left alive. That's what made the jewel of the family, I was all that was needed, any mission any time.

That was until I was signed onto the life time job of being a babysitter.
