She opened the door. She saw her boss sitting impatiently on his chair. Staring at me. She can see anger and irritation on his face.
"All I need is you to do something for me but you can't at least do it right. I already said that you have only limited chance," he started.
Napalunok siya. Ramdam niya na may gustong iparating ang kaniyang boss. "I'm sorry, Sir."
"Send your resignation later to the HR. I don't want to see again working on my company."
Parang sumabog ang mga salitang iyon sa kaniyang utak. Did he really fired her now? Mariin siyang pumikit dahil nagsisimula na namang mangilid ang kaniyang mga luha. Hindi siya pwedeng masisante ngayon dahil kailangan niya ng pera. Kailangan niya ang trabahong ito.
"S-Sir, don't fire me please. Give me one more chance," she begged. With her eyes looking on her own shoes.
"I'm always giving you a chance, Roque. But I need new secretary which is capable doing her task. And that is not you."
"I need this job, Sir. Give me a chance. I'll do everything just let me keep my job here," sabi niya. Pinagkrus niya ang mga daliri na nasa likuran.
She looked up, she faced him with a begging eyes. Kumunot ang noo nito parang hindi naniniwala sa sinabi niya.
"You better think hard about that," he said. Siya naman ang nagtaka sa sinabi nito. Why is that?
"I'm serious, Sir. Just let me stay," she answered.
Kumunot ang noo nito. A pale smile formed on his lips. "What do you want, Roque?"
She let out a deep sigh. "My job, being your secretary. How can I prove to you that I'll do my job right?"
