Cacha lied on the bed. her sleepy eyes saw the snow falling outside. "It's going to be a white Christmas tomorrow" She muttered to her self.
Her eyes opened wildly as she suddently enlightened. Tomorrow was christmas, so today was Christmas eve. Christmas eve meant..
They were too excited with the baby girl until no one remembered his birthday.
She was angry at her self. She labelled her self as not a good wife. How come she completely forgot about his birthday, not a single small birthday cake was prepared while he never forgot about hers. He always gave her presents.
She checked the clock, It was not midnight yet. She had no present or cake but she still had time to wish him happy birthday.
She sat up and hugged his waist "Darling, happy birthday. I'm so sory, I forgot. Sory.. forgive me please"
He smiled and kissed the crown of her head "Thank you babe"
No way Kenichi blamed her or angry at her for not remembering his birthday. She just gave birth to their princess, she was still recovering and had to look after their baby.
His thank made her felt worse "I'm sorry"
"What sory for ? I'm really not angry. I should thank you. You have given me the best present in my wife. You help me to fulfil my promise to mum and grandaunty. You give me a little girl and make my life complete"
Cacha looked up to examine his face. She could not see any trace of disappointment but she still asked again "You really not angry ?"
He chuckled before pecked her lips "I'm not angry. But I'm going to mad if you don't sleep now, You need to rest properly"
She grinned "Okay .. okay.. I sleep now"
She took her phone and sent message to Lynn to buy a birthday cake for him. She also texted aunty Mei to cook his favourite food tomorrow. She planned to give him a late birthday surprice. Late is better than never.
"I told you to sleep but you are still playing with your phone" He was very crossed.
"Okay" She put her phone away and hugged his waist. She used her chest as her pillow.
Cacha was deadly tired, she fell a sleep in no time in his embraced.
Kenichi fixed their thick blanket so it covered her properly before he closed his eyes.
This year was a special birthday for him. Not only she gave him a little princess which he considered as a priceless birthday present. He also gave himself a birthday present, first time ever.
Kenichi had no plan to add more kids. At the beginning of their relationship, he never planned about having kids. He promised the elder about kids bit of she refused to have kids, he would rather break his promise than forced her.
Now, they had two kids which was more than enough for him. He did not want her to suffer morning sickness again. Seeing she could not sleep well and moved freely during pregnancy made him heart ached. Moreover, the labour process caused so much pain for her. He could not let her suffer again.
There were few times he blamed him self for being such a fool. Why should he made a promise to have boy first and girl. Otherwise, she would not suffer like this.
This morning, he went to hospital and went through sterilisation process so he would not be able to impregnat her again. The process by it self was taken about an hour and he could go home an hour later. Therefore no one noticed what he was doing.
The next morning, Cacha completely forgot about his late birthday celebration. She was very exhausted. The baby was crying a lot at night which made her barely sleep. She slept until late
Kenichi was the same, he could not sleep while his wife was awoken. So, He helped her with the little one.
"Where is Bro and sis ?" Lynn asked her mum.
"Still sleeping. Etsuko cried a lot last night"
"Oh.. sis told me to buy birthday cake. it was Bro's Birthday last night" Lynn said.
"Heaven shake.. I forgot about it" Andrew slammed his forehead.
"True... I forgot too" Mrs Feng flet bad as well.
"Well... We're too excited with the little one and forgot about it" Grandma grinned awkwardly.
"Sister Mei said Cacha asked her to cook Kenichi's favourite" Mrs Matsunaga just came back from the kitchen. Therefore, she just remembered it was Kenichi's birthday yesterday.
"Just wait until they wake up then"
By the time Cacha and Kenichi came down, it was already lunch time. Kenichi just cut the cake that Lynn bought without blowing candle and sang any song. He gave a very generous cut to Cacha. He forced her to eat before let her sleep while their baby was sleeping.
Etsuko was different from Daichi, she was quite demanding one. While Daichi only woke up when his nappy was dirty or when he hungry, the girl woke up frequently. Once she cried, it took while to calm her down.
Etsuko made Cacha very distress. She did not gain much during pregnancy. She was nearly on her normal weight after the baby came out. Now, she even lost more weight.
Fortunately she had her three mothers with her. Mrs Feng, Mrs Matsunaga and Jen took turn to assist her with the new born non stop.
Plus, They still had Aoi to help. Kenichi praised him self for not to allow Ren took Aoi. Otherwise, His mother in law would be deadly exhausted.
While the ladied helped with the born, Mr Feng and the elders helped to take care of Daichi.
Since bith Kids were taken care perfectly, Kenichi was forced to come back to work . He preferred to stay home to help his wife but he was very aware that he had obligations and responsibilities at work. He could not shift all of them to Jun who also needed time for his private life.
It took three weeks before Baby Etsuko settled down. After three weeks, The baby's sleeping and eating pattern stabilised little by littlen. She cried less and sleep more. Since the baby was better, Cacha then started to have a good rest which made Kenichi's relief.
Kenichi was planning to hold banquet to welcoming their little princess.
However due to the fact that Cacha was still not occuperated well, he delayed it.
The banquet was held at the end of January. By that time, the weather was freezing cold, Kenichi did not want both mother and baby got sick. So, he only arranged one banquet for family and relatives.
He did not arrange one for their organisation since the senior valued man more than girl. They had already had two heirs so they just ceremonially congratulated Kenichi for their baby girl.
All Feng's siblings came to the banquet. They arrived nearly at the same time to see the baby and stayed until the banquet. They were dying to see and hold the little girl. None were willing to miss this change.
