Andrew planned to take few days leave while Daichi was there. He definitely would enjoy his time with his little grandson "I'll go to office tomorrow for few hour and stay at home after. I need to bring Finlay and Richie for the shareholder meeting"
"I won't go. I has nothing to do with the company" Kenichi refused.
"Bro, Dad and uncle will retire soon. I have no confident to run the company, Can you help ?" Richie plead.
"No"
"Bro.."
"I'm to busy"
Richie knew that pleading to Kenichi was useless. He changed the strategy.
"Sis.. Can you please let bro help me for while ?" Richie was smart enough to beg Cacha.
Cacha was dumpstruck. She was relief that Kenichi rejected the request. She wished her husband not too engrose with work. Now Why they involved her.
However, after thinking carefully, Cacha was in dilemma. She did not want her husband to take the task but she pitied Richie as well. He was too young to carry the heavy burden.
Grandma Anderson understood Cacha dilemma. She too prefered Kenichi to have more time with his little family than work. However, their family business needed a heir. "Cha, Even Finlay helps in the company, we won't make him work hard. This old lady guarantees you"
"Oh.." Cacha waa speechless. She just poked Kenichi's hand under the table. Let him solved it by him self.
Kenichi clutched her hand. He signed "Alright.. I'll help for two years with conditions"
"What conditions?" Richie and Andrew asked excitedly.
"First, I'll help behind the scene. Two, Dad and uncle should not retired at the sametime. Lets say two years after another"
Andrew lifted his eyebrows and nodded "Alright but make it four years"
"What four years ?" Richie asked.
"He helps for four years. I retire next year and your uncle two years later so you two work by your self after" Andrew explained more.
"No. two years" Kenichi rejected firmly.
"Deal four years" Bruce said.
"Your years is more reasonable" Grandpa Anderson finally opened his mouth. He had been waiting for this opportunity to bring Kenichi to their business, so he used this opportunity to make it happen.
"Yes. For years and can be extended" Richie said.
"Four againts one. You lost" Andrew laughed.
Looking at their victory smile, Kenichi cursed him self. In fact, these people worked together and he voluntarily jumped on their trap.
The next day, Andrew brought Kenichi to the shareholder meeting. Kenichi was supposed to be there for an hour or two then he would be back to accompany his wife. However, the plan was changed.
The meeting ran as scheduled but few shareholders stayed and had discussions with Andrew. Andrew used this opportunity to drag Kenichi in to. The discussion then went out of the topic as Andrew proudly told them about his grandson.
By the time he was able to be with his wife, it was already late afternoon.
At that time, Cacha, Jen and Grandma Anderson just finished shopping.
She did not need dress for the enggaement party. She entrusted her outfit in Alice hand and Alice never disappointed her.
She just accompanied Jen and Grandma to choose some dress but at the end of the day, she still had few for her and many for Daichi.
The ladies were having a coffee session at the cafè when Kenichi and Andrew arrived. Cacha had ordered black coffee for Kenichi. It was still warm when he arrived "Drink your coffee"
Andrew furrowed before asked Kenichi
"Can you sleep at night after double balck coffee ?"
"I need coffee to keep me awake. I need to do overtime tonight"
Jen and Grandma who just sipped their tea chocked. They spilled their tea and coughed.
Cacha pinched Kenichi's arm but he pretended to be innocent "what's wrong ?"
Cacha glared at him. "behave please" she said in very low voice so only he could hear it.
"I really have to work overtime tonight" He winked at her.
Andrew grinned. He did not mind at all because he hoped they would give him more grandchildren. He enjoyedshowing off his grandchild. Then his phone rang, He answered the phone with huge grinned.
"Finlay, tomorrow you come with me for lunch with Mr Paker" He said as soon as call ended.
"No. I'll take my wife for sight seeing"
"just come for 15 minutes. Cacha won't mind, right Cacha ?"
Cacha was stunned. Why me again ?.
"Alright 15 minutes" Kenichi was unhappy that they used his wife to control him.
Kenichi regretted very much for his decision. The next few days he and Grandpa Anderson took turn to bring him with them for lunch, dinner or even breakfast with their old business relations.
Cacha faith was not much different from Kenichi. Grandma and Jenn took her with them to socialise as well. She was the next matriarch, so they familiarised her with their society. Sometime, she and Kenichi attended the function together.
"Sis... How are you going with the socialised thing ?" Lynn asked Cacha the night before Ann enggament party. it was the third days after they arrival.
"So.. So" Cacha said unenthusiastic.
Lynn smiled. When she was young, her mother often took her to that kind of event so she understood how boring it was. They were just talking bullshit staff and pretended to be nice to every one eventhough they did not like the person.
"You consider as lucky. My mother goes to at least two functions a week for years. Lucky bro doesn't like socialise like dad"
Cacha nodded "Now I'm glad that he doesn't like to join any drink session. I think now I know why you're dating Jun happily" Cacha teased.
Lynn smiled "Precisely.."
Then both ladies laughed.
Kenichi overheard the ladies conversation. He knew how much pressure Cacha had when she went out and met those high profile ladies.
After he sat down next to her, he held her hand and lifted her chin "I won't go and won't allow you to attend any gathering anymore. We just enjoy the last few days of our stay here"
"But.. Nana said these gatherings are essential for your future"
Kenichi smiled "My future is in my hand and I don't need these kind of bullshit. Babe, My future is you, your happiness and our happy family. Anyway, I'll tell Dad to give that duty to Richie's wife not you"
Cacha smiled. She kissed his lips "My hubby is the best"
Lynn's lip curved up. She put her thumb up "Bro.. I like what you're saying. So from now onwards, lets not come back here too often"
For some reason, she felt lonely. Also, she started to dislike her old friends there. She was mature jow, she could feel if her friends were sincere or not.
"not come here too often ? is it because Jun ? Are you worry that Jun fancies another woman ?" Cacha teased.
"he won't do that" Lynn said confidently.
Kenichi looked at Lynn. He smiled slyly "He just had a meeting with our new partner. I heard the boss has a daughter, very cute. He and her daughter admire Jun alot"
Lynn pursed her lips. She took her phone and moved to another room in hurry.
Kenichi giggled as he watched her disappeared.
"How come you do that ?" Cacha was amazed.
"It's late. Lets go to sleep" He carried her in princess style.
"What happen if they argue" Cacha asked as he put her on the bed
"It's their problem. Lets solve our own problem"
"We don't have problem" Cacha said innocently.
"We do. I need you to love me with your action on the bed"
She threw him an annoying look and pushed him away. He grabbed her hand and pinned her down.
