Since Granpma and Grandpa Anderson could not sleep well, they woke up very early. When they went downstairs, the kitchen was already busy. Aunty Mei was making nutritious breakfast while Mrs Feng was making traditional medicine for the new mother.
After everything were ready, they went to hospital. Uncle Ryu drove them off and took them to the ward. He knew where to go since Koji texted him before.
When they entered the wards, Koji and Aoi were already awake.
"where is Cacha ?" Mrs Feng asked politely.
"She's Still sleeping"
Since she was still sleeping they were just waiting patientlt on the lounge.
Mrs Feng put the insulation food bag on the table first.
Kenichi woken up by the noise. He jumped up and rushed to see who made alot of noises. He was about to scold Koji when he saw his grandparents and his parents in law there.
"Mum, dad, Nana, Grand"
"Is cacha still sleep ?"
Kenichi nodded "She's tired. Daichi woke up twice.. asking for milk"
Mrs Feng stood up and walked to the dinning table. She arranged the food "K, you have breakfast first"
"Thanks mum" He obediently sat down and ate his breakfast.
Cacha was awoken not long after Kenichi left. She did not see him around. She closed her eyes again to sleep but she want to go to toilet. She moved a little but down there was still pain. She needed help "Darling"
He was about to have his second spoon when Cacha called him. He put the spoon down "I'm coming"
Before Kenichi stood up, Mrs Feng stopped him "Just finish your breakfast. Let me see her"
Mrs Feng opened the curtains "Cha"
Cacha saw her mum and smiled "Mum"
Mrs Feng patted her head "You did a great job. Congratulations for being a mother"
Cacha hugged her mother waist "Thank you mum. Mum, I want to go to toilet but it's painful to move"
Mrs Feng caressed her head "After gave birth, it's normal. You'll feel better after while. That's why you have to try to move around slowly. Kenichi is having breakfast, Lets mum help you"
Cacha held her mum hand to get off from the bed. She carefully put her legs on the floor and stood up. She yelped there was a sharp pain on her private part.
"babe.. Are you okay ?" Kenichi left his breakfast and rushed there eventhough his mother in law asked him not to.
Mrs Feng was amazed. She had seen how her own sons reactedwhen their wife gave birth but Kenichi was more caring then them "She's fine. It's normal for her to feel pain. Help her to toilet"
He could not stand when he saw Cacha's hissed everytime she walked "Let me carry you"
"Don't ! let her walk, she needs to move her muscle"
Since His mother inlaw forbade him, He just greeted his teeth and helped his wife.
From the bed to the bathroom, it was only few steps away, But it took Cacha long time to get there. She sat on the toiler bowl for while before she could pass her urine.
"Mum, I can't control my bladder. It's hard for me to pee" She was complaining on the way back to her bed.
"Doctor said it's normal. You'll get the control back but you need to go to physiotherapy" Kenichi said.
"How do you know ?" Cacha was stunned
"I ask Doctor last night" He helped her to lie down on her bed.
Mrs Feng smiled. She was very greatful her little one had such a devoted husband "Cha, have your breakfast"
Kenichi took the bowl and was about to fed her when Mrs Feng took the spoon away.
"She can eat by her self. You eat now ! you haven't finished your breakfast yet"
"But Mum"
"Go now" Mrs Feng signed before she urged Cacha to eat.
Kenichi had no choice but went back to his breakfast.
After Cacha finished her meal, Mrs Feng cleaned up the patient table and urged her to drink the medicine soup. Cacha hestitated first. Alice and Jasmien told her that the soup tasted very aweful. She smelt it and wrinkled her nose.
"Drink it" Mrs Feng yelled impatiently.
Cacha drank it with sour face "It's aweful"
Kenichi went to his wife side as soon as he heard Mrs Feng voice. He gave her a glass of warm water to wash the medicine taste on Cacha mouth.
Mrs Feng ignored her daughter, she now was focusing on her youngest grandson. She bent down and kissed the baby forehead "Hello little one. Nai nai loved to see you"
Nainai meant paternal grandmother, but all her grandsons called Nainai regardless. Calvin, Sasha elder son, refused to call her differently. He wanted to call her as Nai nai, same as their cousins did. Mrs Feng did not let the boy sad so she let him to call her Nai nai. Consequently, Sasha's second kids called her the same. Hence, Cacha's kids would also called her Nai Nai too.
Mrs Feng admired the baby. After while she pushed the baby cart to show the baby to the grandfather and great grandparents.
Grandpa and Grandma Anderson rushed to the baby. They stared at him with waterly eyes. Granpa extended his finger and touch the baby cheek "Hello little man. I'm your great grandfather"
Tears of joy flew from his eyes to his wrinkle face.
The baby pouted unhappy as great grandpa distrubed his sleep.
Grandma wiped her tears "So adorable"
Mr Feng smiled. He patted the baby before he cried. After the baby settled down, Mr Feng touched the baby hands and it was gripped "He's very strong"
Grandpa Anderson put his finger on the baby palm. His finger was also gripped "Whose great grandson are you ? how come you're so strong and adorable"
"You're very silly. Of course he is my great grandson.. Hahaha.. so adorable.. better than his father" Grandma said proudly.
"Yes.. yes.. My great grandson" Grandpa laughed.
"He's mine" Grandma rebuked.
Cacha leaned on her husband chest. He held her shoulder and kissed her forhead. Both of them giggled as the watched the old couple being childlish.
"He's my and my wife son.. our son" Kenichi said proudly to annoy his grandparents.
"You shut up !! Just look after your wife properly, If you dare to neglect her, I kill you !!" Grandpa roared.
At the corner, Uncle Ryu smiled "Little master is so cute"
"I'm his Godfather" Koji muttered proudly.
"You ?!" Uncle Ryu said with disbelieve
Koji gazed was still at Daichi as he nodded proudly "Yes, Me. Sir told me last night"
Mrs Feng was back to Cacha bed "I'll stay here until night. Kenichi, you, Koji and Aoi were here the whole night. Just back home and have some rest"
"I'll ask Koji and Aoi to go home. I'll stay here with my little family"
Mrs Feng smiled "Alright then. By the way, have you tell your grandparents ?"
Cacha understood that her mother refered to his paternal Grandparents. She looked at Kenichi.
"No. Not yet. I'll text her now"
"Darling wait. send them Daichi's photo too"
Kenichi took a picture of his son and sent to his paternal grandfather. Cacha took his phone and typed text message to him.
Since too many people there, Aoi, Koji and uncle Ryu went home. Uncle Ryu had to come back again shortly to bring lunch for Cacha later on. Kenichi prefered food from home. For him, home made food was much more nutritious compared to food from hospital.
