December, the Christmas spirit was seen everywhere. Cacha started to get busy choosing Christmas presens. She spent so much effort since it was her first year to spend Chrismas with his family and relative as his wife.
She found out that preparing Christmas present was a pain. She really wanted to seek Kenichi's opinion of what was suitabel for each of his family members. However, Looking how busy Kenichi was, She did not want to burden him with this. So, she only could rely on her self.
Kenichi saw his wife's spending increased significantly. HEever questioned her what she bought. Instead, he was very thrill to see that she spent their money.
"Babe, did you shop alot lately ?" He asked her at night, two days before their departure day.
"I did. I think I spent too much this month. I'm sorry"
He chuckled "Don't be. Why don't you buy more ?"
"I bought more than enough, I won't go shopping anymore. By the way, Ann said she managed to book a ticket for Kuro. He's coming with us"
"Kuro ?" Kenichi was surprise.
"Yes. Didn't he tell you ?"
"No"
She clappedher hands and grinned foolishly "I'm sure he is going to ask blessing to marry her"
Kenichi chuckled at his wife excitement "Mostlikely" He signed as He was not sure if they were going to accept Kuro easily. What ever happen, he would not land Kuro and Ann help.
"Darling, what are you doing ? are you really busy at work ? " Cacha peeped on the thick file on his hands.
He closed the folder and put it aside "I'm not busy, everything is good. This year, we manage to increase our profit. So, we can give more bonus and a little more pay raise as well"
"Are you going to have a pay raise too ?"
"Of course"
She hugged Kenichi by his neck and kissed his lips "That's awesome"
He laughed "pay raise is useless if no one is willing to spend it"
"hey, I have spend a lot this month. Wait.. why don't you ask me what I bought ?"
"Buy what ever you want. I don't mind. Are they our luggages ?"
"Yes"
"Why do we bring so many ?"
Cacha rolled her eyes "It's our first Christmas with your family, of course we need to prepare Christmas present for everyone"
"Have you buy any for mum and dad ?"
Cacha nodded "I did. I have sent them last week. I bought present for the boys and my sibling as well"
"That's good. Lets sleep"
Cacha blinked her eyes and asked her self "Why don't he ask me if I buy something for him or not ?"
Kenichi pulled her in to his embrace "what are you thinking of ?"
"Nothing"
December was the peak holiday season. Airports everywhere around the world were very busy. Even if the flight arrived on time, the queue on immigration was very long. They also had to wait longer to pick their baggage up. It took them more than an hour to reach the departure gate.
"Thank God, you are finally here" Richie signed. He and Lynn were the one who picked them up in the airport. They came with their chauffeur.
"I'm sorry. You two must have wait for long time" Cacha said.
"We're fine. It was just Nana who called countless time" Lynn just called their grandmother to inform her that Kenichi and Cacha had arrived.
"Then, we are better to go back home now. Otherwise, She will be ballistic" Ann said.
Kenichi, Cacha, Lynn and Richie were on the same car while Ann and Kuro were in the other car.
"That man, is he Ann's boyfriend ?" Lyn asked on the way back.
"He is" Cacha said
"Is he your friend bro ?" Richie asked Kenichi.
"He is but I won't intervene"
Lynn looked at the window "The snow starts falling, We're going to have a white Christmas tomorrow. My dear sister, have you experience white Christmas before ?"
"I did"
"Where ? with my brother ?" Lynn asked excitedly.
"In Korea. He and me has not dating yet at that time. My sister wedding was few days before christmas and my whole family stayed few days longer"
Kenichi held Cacha hand and kneaded it gently. He was disappointed with himself to. Back then, If he did not misunderstand her to have a boyfriend, they should had enjoyed their first white Christmas years ago.
The chauffeur drove little bit slower due to the icy road. By the time they arrived in the Anderson family old mansion, it was nearly dinner time.
"You are here" Grandma Anderso who had been waiting for hours rush to hug Cacha and Kenico
"Nana, I'm sorry to make you wait"
Grandma patted Cacha cheek gently "Silly girl, it's not your fault at all"
"Nana" Ann greated
"Oh.. you're home" Grandma only gave smile to Kuro and Ann.
"Lets go in side. everyone have been waiting" She took Cacha with her and ignored the rest.
Ann rolled her eyes. Her Nana really had forgotten her now and only had Kenichi and Cacha in her eyes.
"Hey Nana, Are you kidnapping my wife" Kenichi grunted.
"I haven't seen her for while, I miss her. I just have her for new minutes and look, how miserable your face is !!"
Grandma pretended to be upsad. She pushed Cacha to Kenichi chest "Alright, I give you wife back"
Kenichi saw his grandfather at the end of the corridor. He chuckled "Thank you Madam. Madam, you should hold your belove darling. Look, his face is very miserable too"
"You.. annoying boy. How dare you tease your Nana" Grandma tried to hide her shyness.
Ann, Kenichi and Cacha giggled at their grandmother as they went to the living room. The whole family was gathering there, no one was missing.
"Finlay.. Cacha" Grandpa Anderson waived happily.
"Happy birthday !!!" They yelled together.
"Ahh.." Kenichi rolles his eyes.
"What kind of face you have ! smiled !" Cacha warned him with very low voice. Kenichi obediently put a fake smile on hi face.
"Bro, hurry up ! blow the candle then we can have dinner. I'm starving" Richie chin pointed at the cake on the table.
"Can I not to ?" Kenichi was very touch with the surprise but he reluctant to go through the birthday ritual. He was not a little kid, he did not excited about birthday anymore.
"You have too. come on" Jenn smiled.
Cacha pushed him to walk forward and force him to sit on the couch behind the table where the birthday cake was.
Kenichi was surrender "alright.. but no sing, okay ?!" He made a birthday wish and blew the candle. His birthday wish was the same as last year. He only wished that next year and the following years, his wife would be there with him.
The dinner was very sumptuous and merry. They were all chatting and joking happily. They occationally talked to Kuro and teased his english merciless. Ann spoke up for him but she ended up teased miserablely as well.
They did not hold Kenichi and Cacha too long. They let the couple retreat to their room and enjoyed the night. However, Ann was not as lucky as Kenichi and Cacha. She was called to the study room and grilled about her relationship with Kuro.
