The Ski resort was not only opened on winter, it opened the whole year around. Other than winter, A lot of tourists still came there to admire the beautiful mother of nature.
Winter was the peak time, so they hired more casual employees. Unsurprisingly, This casual employees did not recorgnise their boss.
Kenichi was not angry at all when no one recognised him. He actually wanted to see personally how the staffs conducted their task without him. In general, he was very satisfied with their professionalism eventhough some of them were very young.
Since everything was under control, his mood for enjoying the show was up.
"Darling, I haven't done it for years. The last time was with you"
"Don't be scare. I'm here" he patiently guided her on the lower ground before he took her to the next station.
This time, their skiing time was merrier than last time. Kissing and hugging was common acts. Like years before, the same people were still tailing them and snapped their happy pictures but they did not send them to anybody other than the male lead directly.
Sunday was beautiful day in winter. The sky was clear, the sun was smiling all day. Kenichi took Cacha to few different place to reminisce their old days. For them, The frozen waterfall looked more enhanced, the shire was more sacred then before.
The next day, Cacha lay on the bed lazily. She did want to move her musle, she was very tired especially her overuse legs. Her sleepy eyes saw Kenichi walked out from the bathroom drying his hair. He threw the towel carelessly to the couch then he took his underwear from the wardrobe.
Her eyes were widely opened to see her husband took off his bathrobe. She never tired to see this beautiful scenery everyday.
She got up and walkes to Kenichi side when he put his pants then his shirt.
"Darling, Let me do it"
Kenichi smiled, he left his unzipped pants hanging on jis waist and his shirt widely open.He put his his hands on her waist and let her buttoned his shirt "Babe, You should sleep more. You're very tired last night"
"Whose fault was it" She pouted.
He gigled and pinched her cheek lightly "You should exercise more. You're too weak"
Cacha twitched. Yesterday, they were out the whole day and when they were back home, she still had to please him at night "It's only seven o'clock. Is it not too early? "
"Last night, there was bad news from weather bureau. Strom is approaching this island . We They just up-grade it to category three few minutes age. Our area is predicted as one worst affected area. It's expected reach this island in the next 24 hours. I need to go to the ski resort tomake sure everything is under control"
Cacha tugged his shirt under this pant and zipped it before she put his necktie on "Come back home soon".
"I'll. You look very tired, sleep more. Becareful if you're going to supermarket. Peopel will be in rush to stock up food"
Cacha kissed his lips "Becareful on the road"
"Yu will drive me" And he kissed her back
"I'm waiting at home with delicious and warm food"
He laughed and kissed her again "Love you"
She watched him get in the car and waived her hand. She looked up in the sky, the sky was blue and very clear without any cloud "calm before the storm"
Kenichi concentrated on the ski resort. He decided to close the ski resort after midday. He expected all customers left by three so all the employees there could go home by 4, 5 would be the lastest. Everything was under control until a group of young foreigner was reported to sneak away from the radar. Kenichi did not want to take any risk so reported the incident to the autority that dispatched a team to search for them. To speed the time, he also sent his own team to help.
Kenichi had nothing else to do. As soon as all the employees left, he decided to go back as well. On the way back, he stopped at the hotel to do a quick inspection.
Over the phone, he had been told that food stock at the hotel was enough for a week, the generetor was good and ready to be used if necessary. However, he still wanted to check it personally.
When he arrived, all management including the managing director had left. Only afternoon manager on duty was there. He was about to leave after he was sure everything in place but the manager on duty came to find him.
"Sir, few of our employees can't go home"
"why ? what's wrong"
Behind the manager, two ladies, one in her fifties and one was twenties, looked in trouble.
The manager step aside "This is our cleaner and her daughter is our receptionist. They can't go home because her husband normally come to pick them up is trapped in his workplace. Strong wind has started in north part of the island"
The wind hadn't reach their place yet but the temperature had plummeted. Kenichi signed "Let them stay. Find out how many empty room we have and how many of our staffs who can't go home"
"Only five rooms is empty. Currently, four staffs ask to stay, 30 staffs will be finish by 9 o'clock, most of them are kitchen staff and another ten people will start their shift soon"
"Looks like the strom will arrive sooner. Tell them that they can leave now otherwise they have to stay here for few days. If they stay, we have to find place to accommodate them"
"Sir, we provide free accommodation for our staff. At this moment still have 5 places available" The manager on duty reported.
"The room is just enough for one person, isn't it"
"Sir, We don't mind squeezing in one room. It make us warmer in this freezing weather " The cleaner was very greatful to their boss.
"No. Give them appropriate room. If not enough, use the empty guest room. Anything else ?"
"A group of tourist from Europe has not come back. last night they were back nearly midnight" The receptionists reported.
"How many people ?"
"25. they are with ABC travel agent"
Kenichi rubbed his temple "Give them a call. Wait, give me one of the empty room, I'll stay here"
The hotel and resort occupancy rate was very high. If something big happen, the manager on duty didn't have authority to decide. He decided to stay just In case something unprecedented happen.
"But sir, only normal room left, no president suit or small cottage left" The manager said.
"Doesn't matter. As long as enough for two people is fine"
The manager was dumbfounded. He always tought their boss who notebene was rich man would never stay in regular room "Yes sir"
"Yu !! Pick my wife up and drive her here. Drive safely" He ordered Yu and gave Cacha a call.
"Darling !" Cacha was stirring the soup. it was almost done
"Babe, I'll stay at the resort today. Yu will pick you up shortly"
"Me ? I'll be fine here, you just.."
"You come and stay here with me. I want let you alone, full stop. Bring me clothes too"
"Alright" She actually was scared to stay alone but she did not want to distrube him He must have important thing there.
