Kenichi was dragged to few meeting the whole day. First meeting was informal breakfast with the few old business partners.
"Andrew, How are you ?" His old partner greeted him with smile.
"I'm great"
"Is this your new assistant ?"
" No. This is my eldest child"
"Really ? I never saw him before"
"This son of me is very useless, ignorance and unreliable. Eversince He was in University, he never willing to help me. He rather did hard and dirty job to earn money"
Mr Anderson signed "He is going to marry soon but he just run small company in Japan. I'm very concern with his future, I even more concern about my daughter-in-law well being"
Mr Anderson seemed to look down his son. but In fact, he actually praised his son as a hard working man who never relied on his family name and power. His introduction led to a question what kind of business Kenichi ran.
Kenichi was a business man. He did not waste this golden opportunity. He introduced his existing resort as well as the new resort that will be opened in autumn. He told them that he built it from zero. So the main focus of the conversation was shifted to Kenichi's budiness.
Mr Anderson was glad that his startegy worked perfectly. He was also stunned, he did not expected that not few of them knew about his son resort.
Some of them had been there before. Some had not been there but their friends, relatives and business partners recomended the resort to them. They expressed their satisfaction with the service provided. They explicitly gave huge credit to Kenichi for his world class management style and good business vision.
As expected, people were not just focus on Kenichi professional carrer. They also had interest on his personal life. In every meeting, there always a person or two who asked about his fiancee. Kenichi proudly said "My Fiancee is just ordinary girl from ordinary family. But She is a Charming girl. She was born and grew up in Sydney with Asian back ground"
Many people were surprise. They did not expect the prominent family like Anderson family allowed their son to marry with ordinary girl. Mr anderson told them what matter for him and his family was the couple loved each other. In addition, their future in law was ordinary but very good.
Breakfast meeti g was not the only meeting Kenichi had that day. Few more formal meeting with local businessmen were followed shortly after that. The last meeting was their parnerts from China who were coincidently there as well.
By the time the pair of father and son were back yo their hotel, it was already late afternoon. Kenichi was stunned to see Mr Feng, Nick and Sean were in the lobby "brothers, dad. have you been waiting here for a long time ?"
Mr Feng smiled "No. we just arrive about 15 minutes ago"
"I'm sorry. are these all for Cacha ?" Kenichi saw a medium luggage next to Mr Feng. He understood that they were for him to take home.
"Not all of them for her. There is some for Mr Sato and his wife. Some also for your grandparents. Please help us to deliver them"
"Thank you Dad. We'll"
Kenichi just reliased there was three paper bages next to Nick. Before he could ask. Mr Feng took them and "And these are for your father. Please share them with every one in Uk"
Mr Anderson was stunned "you don't need to give me anything"
"It's really nothing. These just cookies, My wife and the girls made them. They were freshly bake"
"Thank you"
"Lets have dinner first before Kenichi go the the airport. Sean has made reservation for us" Nick said.
"Please wait for me. I'll be ready soon" Kenichi went to his room. He did not have alot of stuffs to be packed, so he and Mr Anderson were back down stair within half an hour.
They had dinner in the western restaurant close by. It was just a small one but the meal was very good.
"How do you know this place" Mr anderson asked Sean.
"I know the owner. Are you also living tonight ? " Sean asked.
"No. My flight is tomorrow morning. I aldo still have a meeting in Singapore before heading back home tomorrow night"
"We are really sorry. We can not send you tomorrow. These boys have to work and Alan have surgery in the morning. My wife wished to come tonight but she was exhausted"
"It's not a problem, I have people to drive me to the airport. It's me who thank you all. You spare your busy time to see me"
Kenichi, Nick and Sean rolled their eyes. The old generation was really full of lips service.
They finished their dinner faster then the Fengs drove Kenichi to the airport.
It was still more than half an hour until his boarding time. So, Kenichi used his free time to call Cacha back home.
"Babe, what are you doing ?"
"I just arrived home and had dinner. Have you arrived in the airport yet ?"
"Waiting for boarding. Elder brother, Second brother and Dad drove me. How was your day ?"
"Just normal one. It's quite here. How's yours ?"
"Busy. My father dragged me to few meetings here"
Cacha was surprised "Are you going to move to your father company? "
"Why should I ? Eventhough company is small but I'm the boss. I have the final word. If I join his , I have to follow his and my uncle order plus there are shareholders. It's trouble some. Anyway, my current income is enough to feed my wife"
"Food alone is not enought, you need to buy me jewellery as well" she teased him.
"Do you prefer diamond or pearl ?" Kenichi was serious.
Cacha laughed "Darling, I was joking. I don't need them"
"But I'm serious"
They were on the phone until nearly every one boarded the flight.In fact, he was the last person "Babe, I need to go now. See you in few more hours. Love you"
"Love you too"
Kenichi ended the call and boarded the plane.
