Knock.. knock
"I'll be home on Tuesday morning. You don't need to pick me up on the airport. I'm going to the office directly" Kenichi went to open the doot while he was still on the phone
"morning eldest sister"It was Alice who knocked the door
Alice grinned "Morning. Mum asked you to go down stair for breakfast"
"I'll be there soon" then he was back to his phone "Babe, eldest sister is here. do you want to speak with her ?"
"Yes.. Please"
"It's cacha" Kenichi gave the phone to Alice and went downstair for breakfast.
Alice took the phone and talked to Cacha. She told her about their plan to visit her in the next three weeks. She managed to keep secret about yesterday marriage proposal. When she went downstair, Kenichi was in the middle of breakfast with their parents in law.
"Mum, it's Cacha" She gave the phone to Mrs Feng.
Mrs Feng spoke for few minutes then gave it to her husband. Kenichi was glad that they did not mention anything about yesterday. All the couple did was asking their daughter well being and lectured her this and that.
Mr Feng gave the phone back to Kenichi after he finsihed his nagging.
"Babe, stay at home today. don't go anywhere. Tomorrow, Jun will pick you up and drop you off after work. Ok ?" He did noy want anything bad happen to her while away. He could not relay on his brothers anymore.
Cacha felt annoying. They really treated her like Austen and Hugh. Nonetheless, she still said yes.
"Did she made trouble ?" Mrs Feng asked.
"No,not her. It's the italian lady that you met last time and my cousin, but it's not big deal, my friends are watching them"
Mr and Mrs Feng nodded.
"do you let your ex-girl friend with my sister ?" Sean suddently appeared.
"She is not my ex. She's my bestie's sister" Kenichi did not want the family to missunderstand him .
"He just make fun of you. Don't take ot seriouly" Nick patted Kenichi shoulder while
Sean giggled happily.
"What is your plan for today ?" Nick asked again.
"Nothing. I'll stay in the hotel tonight"
"What time is your flight tomorrow ?" Michelle asked.
"10 o'clock at night"
"We have few things for our sister. I'll deliver it to your hotel at 5. Is that ok ?" Alice said.
"sure"
"Morning every one" Lana arrived with Ed. They actually wished to come there as soon as Jasmine told them about yesterday event. However, they had function at night.
She sat next to Kenichi and interogated him without second thought "Are you really going to marry our sister in october ?"
"Yes"
"No way !! Ed just proposed to me last week and we planned our wedding in January next year. Why did you decide that fast ?"
Ed furrowed his eyebrows "Perhaps.. you made her" He made curved sign on his belly.
Kenichi twitched "brother, If I make her pregnant, I won't wait for 6 months to get married"
Nick and Sean shook their head. Ed's EQ and IQ was really below Kenichi. He could not win any argument with any man in their family.
Lana glared at Ed and was back to Kenichi "How are you going to propose ?"
"it's a secret" Honestly speaking, Keinichi still had no idea how he was going to do it. He hadn't even prepared the ring yet.
"I'll be there to watch your performance" Lana grinned slyly.
"My pleasure" Kenichi took the challenged.
The whole day, Kenichi really had pretty harsh day. He was constantly teased by the whole familu members. It was even worst when Josh and Fred came later on the day. Mr and Mrs Feng were helpfull but they also sometime also teased him.
Compare to him, Cacha had a quite easy day. She and the girls stayed at home most of the time. They only went out to buy some groceries and took Ann to the train station. Ann had to go back, she had work to do while Kimiko and Elena stayed for one more day.
Kenichi was back to his hotel early evening. He prefered to spend the day with Feng family eventhought he was the main target of their teasing. It was more fun then spent time with his father.
Josh drove him back to the hotel at 8 O'clock after they had dinner. However, he did not went to the room that he shared with his father rightaway. Instead, He sat on the lobby and called Cacha for about an hour.
When he was back his room, Mr Anderson sat on the sofa listening to the classic mussic with a glass of red wine on his hand. Kenichi greeted his father then went for shower.
After he had done with the shower, he was about to lie on his bed when Mr Anderson called him
"Finlay, Sit down here. Have a chat with me" Mr Anderson filled his glass and alsp a new glass with red wine. He gave one glass to Kenichi.
"We have plan to collaborate with major hotel chain in China to build a high class resort. Coincidently, they are here. Tomorrow, come with me to meet them"
Kenichi drank his wine "I'm not part of your company, why should I come with you"
"I'll introduce you as our partner"
Kenichi stared at his father "What do you mean ?"
"I'm thinking to let you handle this project. We'll appoint your company as your representation in Asia.
"I won't do it"
Mr Anderson smiled. there was no trace of anger or disappoinment on his face. He knew before hand that Kenichi would reject his idea "why not ? It's good opportunity for you. We put the money on the project and you do the job for us. We divide the profit 45 for us and 55 for you I need to discuss it with your uncle and grandfather. I'm confident they will support my decision"
Kenichi chuckled "I'm not lack of money. I earn enough income"
