When she said that, the man's gaze notably turned darker before he laughed and turned gentle. Before, Yun Xuan would have thought he looked loving but right know all she saw was a homicidal maniac straight from hell. Even his laugh sounded like that from the devil himself.
Still, she held on and went over to hug him briefly before she made an excuse and fled into her room.
She looked around her room which she had loved for eighteen years and her heart sunk. In the end, she could not stay much longer. It did not matter to her that she would trigger General Yun anymore. It was already good enough that she wasn't venting her anger on him.
