Synopsis
In modern day society, socialists all around the world continue to fight for a tomorrow where capitalism does not exist. Despite Western assumptions, the revolutionary fervor has not, as they would say, "died down". It is true in that the scope of the fervor has indeed shrinked, but to say that it has died down is incorrect. The revolutionary left is out there. It is shrouded by the system that fears it. Our goal as socialists is to see to not just capitalism's demise, but the rise of socialism. However, it has been a long time goal of the left (considered a pipe dream by many) to strike at what is considered the heart of capitalism, the United States. In my opinion, however you receive it, it is not. In this series, I will attempt to list clearly the problems facing the building of a Revolution in the United States, the issues surrounding the carrying out of the Revolution, and how to deal with the problems that shall inevitably arise when dealing with post-Revolution issues, the transformation of society, and the transformation of the economy. All of these issues are complex, and all of them have been given different answers. However, no matter the cost, we all must endeavor to answer these questions. We now not only have the burden of liberating the masses and, as Marx said, have a world to win, but the issue now, as the threats of climate change strengthens its grip, is that we have a world to save. Whatever results of you reading this, I hope you better understand our position.

Chapter 1 - Introduction

I am not sure what audience this shall reach. Simply put, the Webnovel is not a place where you spread revolutionary propaganda. It is a place to share works of pure fiction. As such, I must understand that whatever I write may not, in the end, bluntly speaking, reach anyone. This is, fortunately, somewhat to my benefit. This allows me greater freedom of expression, one that in most non-left spaces would be summarily looked down upon. It is pleasing, then, that I can create this work uninterrupted.

The left in the United States is, especially since the meteoric rise of Bernie Sanders, resurgent. This is a blessing. For so long, the left has been reduced to its original form, that of it being nothing more than a status quo-disturbing, non-stop activist, decentralized group. For so long, we have been capitalism's shadow, that criticism that hangs over it, an afterthought that cannot seem to dissipate from consciousness. This is gradually becoming less so, and changes are, due to the increasing threat of climate change, going to happen whether the ruling class and the bourgeois class they serve desire them or not.

With this respect in mind, the left has a chance it has never had before: to initiate revolution and build socialism. Any one of you, even if you are ignorant of this, understand the implication of this, considering what sides were taken during the Cold War and, for those who know and for those whose curiosity shall be sparked, the fanatic anti-communist activities taken on by the US.

Thus, the nature of our revolution is also symbolic. The US has long been regarded as the heart of capitalism. To topple the regime here would be a an act of historical significance on par with the collapse of the Roman Empire. The critical nature, however, is of greater importance. For far too long, the worker and their fellow downtrodden classes have been the subject of the paranoic whims and the decadent desires of the people they are under. The masses live in poverty and precarian stability while they continue to find even more ways to alienate themselves from their fellow human beings, further enriching themselves in the process.

We must begin our Revolution. If not to topple the bourgeoisie, then to at least secure a future for our grandchildren not as climate refugees.

Long Live the People! Long Live Socialism!
