Synopsis
Follow these kids on different journeys and watch them grow. This is my first story, so I'm not that good. Sorry if it sucks.

Chapter 1 - Taylor

I was walking down the hallway trying to avoid eye contact with everyone.

I was on the way to my locker but when I turned the corner I hit something soft and fell down.

Jessica and her friends were standing there laughing. I try to get up to apologize but I was shoved down again.

Jessica spoke up " Apologize for bumping into me. Freak".

Ha 'freak' was the best she could do? I stood up dusting myself off. Then I did what I knew would push her buttons. I looked her in the eyes and smiled.

"Why the hell are you smiling?!". It was funny seeing her get flustered.

She looked down at my shirt. Suddenly there's a snapping sound. I was so shocked that for a second I doubted I even breathed.

She took it. My dad's locket. She smiled and dropped it. I was going to pick it up but I was to late.

It was crushed under her 6 inch pink designer heels.

I darted out of there as fast as my little body could take me. I went to the roof to get some air.

I ended up staying there the rest of the day, just crying. That blonde hair blue eyed barbie just had to destroy something so precious.

After school I headed to the hospital. When I walked in the nurse automatically recognized me and let me through

I walked in to room 147. My mom was talking with the doctor ( well more like the doctor was talking to her)when I came in so she didn't notice my presence.

The doctor turned and jumped when he saw me. He was a decent looking man. He had brown fluffy hair, tan skin, and dark brown eyes hidden behind glasses.

"Oh Taylor, hello. You're moms chemo treatment is going very well."

I just gave him a warm smile. He left to give me and my mom privacy.

"Hey mom" she just stared at me and smiled before turning back to the window. She's mute so I wasn't really offended. I continued and told her about my day. Exluding the bullies. She already had enough on her plate.

Finally time to go home.
