I woke up the next morning with a terrible headache. when I stood up it made it worse. It was like all the blood rushed to my head at that second. I did my best to dress myself without falling over and ended up in a sweater an jeans. I made my way downstairs to where my mom was cooking. I ignored the way she stiffened and grabbed an Ice pack from the freezer.
"Not feeling good today?" dad asked, looking like he had one too many coffees
"No" I answered as I went into our Living room and collapsed on the couch
"I have to go to work, make sure you take your time on your way to the shop" dad kissed mom before he left
Mom didn't really talk to me much anymore. Somethong about me just terrified her. I don't know what it was, but it sent her over the edge a long time ago.
"I'm leaving" she said just before she rushed out to the car
I saw the eggs she left on the coffee table in front of me. I ate them quickly before I lay back down, pressing the ice to my head. I think I fell asleep again because I was woken up by the sound of the doorbell.
I sat up and felt a wave a dizziness and nausea. I stood up any way and opened the front door.
"Just wanted to see if you were up for the project today" Evan said
"I don't think I can today"
"you don't look so good" he commented with a look of worry
"I'm....fine" I couldn't even finish my sentence before the floor came spiraling towards my face
He caught me and started cursing under his breath. He scooped me up in his arms, shutting the door behind him, and carried me over to the couch. He put the ice pack back against my face.
The pull in my stomach was burning me. My head felt like it was going to explode. What worried me most is that I didnt know what was wrong with me.
"Ana? Ana can you hear me?" Eva asked, sitting me up on his lap
I tried to focus on his face, but my vision blured every now and then. He was cursing again and he laid me back down. I felt him pick me up and take me outside. I must've blacked out then because I the next time I opened my eyes I was in an unfamiliar room.
I only opened my eyes a little, but the light made me close my eyes again. I felt something cool against the side of my face. I also felt someone touching my hair.
"did you call her parents?"
"yeah, I told them she was spending the night at my place for a sleepover and her mom didn't seem to have a problem with it"
"She didn't ask anything?"
"No, she just said keep her for as long as I want"
I heard a growl right in my ear, which made me jump slightly. I opened my eyes. That's when I realized that I was being held. By Evan.
"Sorry" he mumbled down at me
I sat up and realized that there was two other guys and a girl in the room staring at me. I didn't even know where I was. The dizziness almost made me fall over.
"See? I told you that was a bad idea Evan" the girl said as she steadied me "give me the ice"
She put it on the side of my head while Evan looked at her in irritation. I was so confused.
"You should've at least tried to calm her down, but no. you just let her feel like she's been kidnapped" she went on, brushing some of the brown curls trom her face.
A low, menacing growl came from Evan. The girl dropped the icepack and backed away from me. Evan pulled me back next to him.
"I brought her here so you could help, not so you could yell at me" he said
"It's not my fault your girlfriend's suffering from bond withdrawal" Rose said
