Outside the school, Fiona looked around. 'Azael said he'd be here-'.
"I am here"
Fiona jumped and nearly fell over into the snow. Azael caught her arm before she did. She moved back. 'Focus'
"Why weren't you in class?" Fiona asked
"I had something i needed to do, but it's important that you don't leave my side. There's someone dangerous around the school right now"
"I can't stay long, Cody has his soccer game in a few hours and he thinks I'm in the bathroom" Fiona explained
"I technically don't have to be seen, I could just go in my other form. But I'm pretty sure you won't be able to pull off pretending I'm not there" Azael smiled at that comment
Fiona was shivering. She'd forgot to grab her coat before she went outside. Azael was about to finish his sentence when he suddenly went into a protective stance.
"What are you doing?" Fiona asked
"Yes, Azael, do tell, what are you doing" a voice echoed from a distance
"Caim, go back to Miru" Azael snapped
"Azael, must you be so rude? I just wished to pay your little friend a visit" The voice was closer now
Azael moved closer to Fiona, grabbing her hands from behind him. Fiona was confused by this gesture, but didn't have time to question it. A figure appeared in front of them both. A short girl with unnatural red hair and all white eyes.
"Can't I even say hi?" she asked, her right hand glowing as she pointed it towards Fiona
Fiona was pulled forward, but Azael kept his hold on her hands. Caim started chanting, and Azael was cut across his face. He cried out and ended up letting go of Fiona.
Fiona felt like the white light that was coming from Caim's hands was burning her. Just when she got a hold of her, she was knocked aside.
"Who the he-" She froze, then disappeared
Samael wiped the blood from his hand as he looked to Fiona. Before he could say anything, Fiona collapsed.
"No, No, No, No!" Azael took off his jacket and wrapped it around Fiona
"What's wrong with her?" Samael asked
Azael ignored him and ran inside the building. He set her down inside of one of the older classrooms before he turned to Samael.
"This is your fault"
