Chapter 1 - Breakup at the bar

People always tell you not to drink your sorrows away. They say it's harmful and can cause accidents, to which I definitely agree. This time it wasn't my fault though, it was all the fault of Kai. The stupid, narcissistic, egotistical, utterly frustrating and just plain cruel Kai.

What kind of man takes someone out to the same place they first met, on the day of your 3-year anniversary, just to break it all off? Well my ex-boyfriend apparently.

So yes, I was drinking my feelings away. But evidently, I was not to blame. Damn this sucked.

"Another one" I got the bartenders attention and pointed and my now empty rum and coke. His wrinkled eyebrows and questioning looks showed me just what he was thinking. Pity. I did my best attempt to look sober as I stared back at him, as my finger was poised, pointing at the glass. How hard could it be to get some liquor around here?

As soon as the glass was removed and another one appeared before me, I was ready to down it yet again. That is, before some insensitive swine decided to chug the entire thing.

This, was not my night. However, drunk as I might've been, I wasn't about to let that dick get away with his behavior. Turning my chair towards him, I was all but ready to punch his lights out. That was, before noticing the stressed look across his face. My hand instantly lowered.

"Excuse you? I believe that belonged to me?" I did my best to sound harsh despite the pity that came over me.

He turned to look at me and for the first time, I got a good and proper look at his face. But if wasn't just any face, it was far more familiar than it should've been.

It belonged to Senri Holt, the richest youth in the states and ranked number one on most eligible bachelor.
