Chapter 6 - His Mansion is bigger than my apartment

After Mahad had watched her emptying both plates, he decided to continue with his work. He had so much that need to be done for today. As soon he finished them, he could do whatever he want with her.

Many hours passed by in instance. Mahad rubbed slightly on his eyes. He lifted his eyes away from the laptop screen in front of him and saw that woman had felt asleep. Mahad stood up and walked to her. He bent down and then cradled her in his arms. Flora opened her sleepy eyes, meeting his dark eyes.

"Sleep." He whispered, and she closed her eyes. Mahad carried her in his arms and took her to a cabinet. Then he put her on the mattress slowly and carefully. Afterwards he put a blanket on her. Mahad stayed quiet longer in the cabinet as he watched her sleeping face. It was relaxed one.

"She easily let her guard down." He muttered and stood up. He turned around and before he could walk, he was stopped. Flora had grabbed on his hand while she was sleeping.

Mahad turned around, looking down at her.

"Don't go…" He heard her saying. Mahad sighed softly and sat down on the bed. He took the hairs, which were covering her eyes away and put it behind her ears. Mahad slowly bent down and put a soft kiss on her forehead.

"I won't." He whispered.

Mahad didn't know how long he was in the same room with her and in the bed. He had watched over her while she was sleeping. Suddenly his eyes felt heavy and he couldn't keep it open anymore. Mahad crawled to the open side of the mattress of her and laid down. He made sure to gather her in his arms first before he could finally close his eyes.

Flora woke up in the middle of the night. She rubbed on her eyes, then she noticed something. She felt something on her stomach and on her side. She turned her head to the side and her face froze, her eyes widened.

W-W-Why is here?

Noticed that something was not right.

Where the hell am I? Why is he sleeping beside me?

She wanted to put or rather push his away, but it won't budge. It was too strong. The man lying beside her was holding her in his arms, while on of his hand were lay in her stomach. After she tried a few times to push him away, she gave up. Flora sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder. She breathed his smell. His smell was special to her. And she couldn't get enough of it.

Flora placed a hand on his cheek and caressed it gently with her thumb. She stared at his sleeping face and she admitted that she couldn't get enough staring at this handsome man. He was just too handsome and too beautiful. After staring at his face for almost for an hour, drowsiness felt over her. Flora gave him a quick kiss on his lips before she fell into sleep again.

The next day, the jet arrived at the Vienna Airport. Flora and Mahad headed to the car, who was waiting outside the airport and were whisked to a beautiful Mansion near the beautiful river the Donau.

Flora looked around in awe. "I-Is this yours?" Her eyes took it all in with curiosity.

"Hm… Let's head inside." Mahad gazed up the big beautiful mansion.

Inside the housekeeper were waiting for his master. He greeted Mahad with politeness.

"Welcome back, Young Master. It's nice to have you here."

Mahad nodded to him. "Tom, this is Flora. She is assistant." He introduced to him and whispered to his ear. "Everything she needs, you take care of it."

The housekeeper lifted his eyes and glanced at the woman behind his Master.

"I know what to do." He whispered.

"Good." Mahad put a hand on his shoulder and went ahead, leaving Flora behind.

Flora was still in a daze. She had never seen such a beautiful mansion. Everything here looked so luxurious and most of all expensive. She was afraid of touching the item inside and most of all she break them. She would mostly paid of her of salary then. She sighed silently.

Flora turned her head and noticed an elderly man looking at her.

"Oh… I'm sorry." She apologized.

The elderly gave her a warm smile. "You must be Flora, right? I'm Tom the housekeeper here. If Miss would follow me, I'll show you your room."

"Oh… right." Flora nodded, embarrassing as she didn't know what to do. Then she saw the elderly man took her suitcase. Flora run to him.

"No. Let me carry my own suitcase myself." She told him as she didn't want to burden him. The elderly man looked surprised at her for a second.

"Please." Flora didn't give up.

The elderly man smiled. "Alright. Then follow me."

The elderly man, she meant Tom, lead her upstairs to a big room.

"This is your room." Tom said after he opened the door to the room.

Flora was in shock when she saw how the big the room was and how beautiful it was.

"This is my room?" She was speechless.

Tom just smiled at her. Flora slowly walked in and looked around. Her eyes still didn't recover from the shock.

"Are you sure?" She gulped after she face Tom.

Tom nodded. "Please unpack your things and get down. I'll show you around."

Her eyes sparkled at his words and she nodded eagerly. "Okay, I'll be finish in a second."

Tom turned around and walked outside. Tom smiled to himself.

"Seems like Young Master has finally a good woman." He muttered to himself and headed down to Mahad's office.

Mahad was sitting in his office, typing on the keyboard of his laptop. He was almost finish with his work. Then he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." He said loud without breaking to type.

Tom walked in and looked at his young master serious gaze.

"I've showed her room." Tom spoke up, "She is a nice woman."

"Hmm. Thanks Tom." Mahad lifted his eyes up from his laptop and stopped typing. "Anything that she wants just give it to her. You don't need to report it to me. And please take good care of her for me. I'll be busy in the next few days as I might not be at home as much."

Tom looked surprised at his young master words. He nodded.

"You can leave now, Tom. I need to get this work done by today."

"Dinner will on seven. Don't forget." Tom reminded him and turned around to leave.

"Hmm. I got it." Mahad threw his attention back to his laptop again.

After Flora unpack her clothes and other thing from her suitcase, she went downstairs in a hurry. She was excited to explore this big mansion. When she arrived down, Tom's warm smile greeted her.

"Ready?" He asked her.

Flora nodded her head in excitement. Tom smiled and walked ahead. Then he led her to every room and showed them to her. Flora was too amazed by this big mansion. The only sound she made was either an "OOOOHHH" or an "AAAAHHH". She was too fascinated. Flora had never seen such big mansion from inside before. Of course, she had seen them from the outside, but the feelings of excitement was never there like this. She sighed inwardly. She felt so envy. She wished she would also live in such a big and luxury mansion. And at last Tom led her to the garden.

Flora gasped in surprise as she saw how beautiful and colourful the garden was. They were many flowers in different colours planted around. Most of them were rosses, tulips and lilies.

"It's so beautiful…" She said. Flora turned her head to Tom.

"Say, mister, who planted all this plant?" She asked curiously.

Tom laughed out. "Please call me Tom. And the madam has planted all this plant."

Flora raised an eyebrow in surprised. "Mahad's mother?"

Tom nodded, and he seemed surprised when he heard she called him by his young master first name.

"The madam came here often when the master was still alive. She and master with the young master and his brothers planted all these plants when young masters and his brother were still young, but since the master has passed away, the madam had stopped coming here." Tom explained to her, his voice full of sadness and his eyes were with sorrow.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I-I shouldn't have asked you this…" Flora gazed at the flower, a tear in her eyes appeared.

Tom glanced at the woman beside him for a moment. His thought unclear.

"You can stay here, if you want." Tom told her.

"Hmm, I think I want." Flora gazed at the elderly man beside her and smiled soft.

Tom turned around and walked away, leaving her alone.

Flora spent the rest of the afternoon, walking around the garden and exploring it, looking at the floor. Then she saw a swing. And Hollywood-swing, hanging on a big tree. Flora ran to the swing and looked at it, inspecting the ropes if it was tightly bound on the tree branch. She sat herself on the swing. Then her eyes felt like sand bags and she couldn't keep them open anymore.

Mahad was working on his document for hours, till it was late. He shifted his eyes away from the laptop. He stood up and walked to the window near his seat. His office was located where he can look outside of and have a view of the garden. As he glanced outside he noticed something. It was already dark outside, but he recognised the person outside who was sitting on the swings.

"Don't tell me that she felt asleep there?" Mahad turned around and walked with large steps to the door. He opened the door and headed outside to the garden, where she was. Mahad stopped in front of her and let out a sigh.

"She's really sleeping." He mumbled. Then he gathered her in his arms and picked her up. Flora automatically leaned her head on his shoulder. Mahad walked inside back with her in his arms. He went to her room and gently put her down on the bed.

Then he walked to the desk which was near her bed. There was a notepad on the desk. He took a pen from the glass in front of him. Mahad scribbled on the paper and tore it apart. He took the paper and placed in the night table beside her bed.
