Synopsis
I was chosen by some old dude that called himself a God to be his entertainment, as he calls it. He gave me a choice where I would either accept or decline and lose my memories of this meeting. In the end, I chose to accept as my life was completely boring and I wanted some sort of excitement in it, which this God gave to me.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Eh?" I mumble in confusion.

I was just in my room lazing around since I had nothing else to do, and now I am standing in some open white space with nothing inside of it, making me wonder whether I fell asleep and was having a weird dream.

"You aren't sleeping, child. I brought you here to give you two options." A voice suddenly said.

Quickly turning around, I found myself staring at an old man with a long white beard and long white hair, making me think of God instantly for some reason. Well, he does indeed look like something a God would though.

"What do you mean you brought me here? Also, are you God or something?" I question the old man.

"Indeed, I am God. Well, one of them at least. I brought you here to my... Room, if you may, as I will give you the choice between two options." The God said.

Hm... Well, since he can bring me here he is probably telling the truth, I just don't know what the options will be. It would be nice if it was like the novels always have though, since I would get some excitement in my life then.

"What two options are you giving me?" I asked God.

"The first option is to be my entertainment and travel throughout the Universe in all sorts of worlds, or to decline and have your memory of meeting me erased and be sent back to your original world before I brought you here." God said with a chuckle.

I was surprised when I heard what God said, since it is exactly like a novel is happening to me. In the end, I shook off my surprise and didn't hesitate to agree, as this was exactly what I wanted to happen to me.

"I agree." I said quickly.

God chuckled and waved his hand, causing a massive roulette wheel to appear in front of me. The thing was so big I was just staring at it blankly before God's voice snapped me out of it.

"This is the Wheel of Abilities. Spinning this will give you whatever ability it lands on in the end, which could be something amazing or something horrible. You would take this ability with you on your journey throughout the Universe." God explained to me.

I was excited at what God said, since this means I potentially have a chance to get an overpowered ability, even though the chance would be very low and I would have a high chance to get a useless ability.

"Now then, pull down the lever so you can obtain your ability." God said to me.

I didn't hesitate and stepped towards the wheel and grabbed onto the lever, pulling it down. The instant I pulled it down, the Wheel of Abilities began spinning at a rapid rate that I couldn't even see clearly.

I don't know how long passed before the wheel finally stopped spinning, and when I looked at what ability it landed on, it just showed a blank box, making me confused since I have no idea what is was. I looked towards God and he had a look of surprise on his face.

"Interesting. To think a mere mortal from a Grade 1 world would obtain something as ridiculous as this. Do you know what you obtained?" God asked me.

I shook my head as I had no idea what it is, but from God's reaction, it should be something good at least. I just wonder how good it really is.

"Immortality. You actually obtained Immortality. Naturally it isn't True Immortality, but it is nonetheless Immortality. Honestly, I still can't believe your luck, for you to actually obtain Immortality..." God sighed in wonder.

I was shocked from what I heard. Immortality! If this is what I think it is, then that means I won't die, even if I do die I would just come back to life! I was excited as who doesn't want to be immortal at least once in their life?

"Anyways, now that you obtained your ability, it is time to send you to your first world. Also, since you would have no idea how to control your power or get to other worlds, I will give you a Guide to accompany you on your journey. Good luck and bring me lots of entertainment." God added with a chuckle at the end.

A second later, I was covered in a white light and after who knows how long, the white light finally died down and, to my surprise, I was back in my room back on Earth, making me surprised.

"Did God mess up in sending me off? Why am I in my room again?" I mumbled in confusion.

[Host is incorrect. God sent you to the right place.]

"Wh- Right, God said he would be giving me a Guide, is that you?" I was shocked before I asked.

[Host is correct. I am the Guide given to Host by God, named Guide-182374. Host may just call me Guide.]

I was a bit surprised at the voice in my head at first, but since I know what it is now, I am calm once again. Right, didn't Guide say that God sent me to the right place? Well, I might as well ask Guide about it.

"Guide, where am I then? I can't be on my normal world since God sent me here properly." I asked.

[Host is currently within a Grade 2 World. This world is still Earth, but it is a parallel Earth where a zombie apocalypse is happening. Think of it like those shows Host watched in his original world.]

Huh.... A freaking zombie apocalypse world, huh? Now that is surprising. No wonder I was in my room again, it is still Earth so God probably put me back in my house as a bonus, which is very useful for me as I have a lot of stuff inside that could help me.

[Would Host like a rundown on the uses of the Guide?]

"Ah, yes please." I agree.

[Host has access to multiple functions, which are: Status, Shop, Mission, Inventory, World Travel. Status will show Host's stats in numbers, as well as Host's abilities and points. Shop will let Host buy anything as long as he has the points for it. Mission will give Host missions which Host can earn points and experience from completing it. Inventory allows Host to store anything inside of it as long as it isn't a living being. World Travel allows Host to travel to other worlds after Host has gained the required strength to do so.]

Huh, this is just like a novel for sure. The Guide is basically a System that is in those novels, huh. It even comes with an Inventory, which will be very useful to carry all of the stuff I would need to survive in the future.

"How do I use the Status? Do I just say it aloud or something?" I asked.

[Host is correct. Host merely needs to say 'Status' to open the Status, 'Shop' to open the Shop, 'Mission' to open the Mission, 'Inventory' to open the Inventory and 'World Travel' to open the World Travel.]

Yep, it is more and more like a novel now. Well, I guess I am the protagonist of a novel now, since I met God and all of that. For now let's open the Status and see what is on it.

"Status." I said.

[Name: Fu Han

-Age: 21

-Gender: Male

-Race: Human

-Level: 1[0/30]

-Cultivation: [Locked]

-Guide Level: 1

-Strength: 5

-Agility: 5

-Dexterity: 5

-Endurance: 5

-Vitality: 5

-Intelligence: 5

-Charm: 5

-Luck: 5

-Soul: Mortal

-Stat Points: 0

-Points: 0

-Abilities: Pseudo-Immortality

-Skills: Enhanced Regeneration(1/10)]

"Interesting. Guide, why are all of my Stats at 5? Also, can you explain the rest of the Status to me?" I asked.

[Yes, Host. All of Host's Stats are only at 5 because it is Host's first world. Also, the highest Stats in this world are 10, so Host is half as strong as the strongest person in the world. Level is the base level of Host in all worlds, which will grant Stat Points each time Host levels up. Cultivation is locked until Host goes to a cultivation world. Guide Level is the Guides level. Increasing it will make Host's Guide stronger. Abilities shows the Unique Abilities of Host, such as Pseudo-Immortality. Skills shows the techniques that Host has, which is currently on Enhanced Regeneration(1/10).]

"I see. Why is my Immortality only Pseudo-Immortality? Also, what does Enhanced Regeneration do?" I asked again.

[Host's Immortality isn't True Immortality and so it is marked as Pseudo-Immortality. Instead of Host being able to come back to life no matter what, Host will only be able to die a total of 100 times before Host dies a true death. Host can also be weakened by attacks that target the Soul, and some of them can possibly kill the Host. Enhanced Regeneration will allow Host to heal faster from all wounds received, it is merely a bonus from the Pseudo-Immortality.]

Huh, I guess that makes sense. God did say I didn't get True Immortality, but still getting any type of Immortality is great. Even though I can only die 100 times total, I don't plan on dying that many times. As for the Soul targeting attacks the Guide spoke about, I guess that is based on the Soul Stat in my Status. It says Mortal beside it, meaning it is probably the lowest grade of Soul one can have. I will have to raise that so I don't die to Soul attacks in the future...

"Right, when does the zombie apocalypse start? Since I don't hear nor see any signs of it happening currently, since everything is normal outside right now." I asked.

I was currently looking out of the window in my room right now, and everything outside is still completely normal, people are walking their dogs, coming home from school or work or just driving around. It wouldn't be like that in an apocalypse.

[The zombie apocalypse starts is exactly 17 hours 37 minutes and 47 seconds.]

Still over 17 hours, huh. I don't feel like waiting that long with my guard up since it would make me too anxious to work properly. I might as well sleep until then, I guess.

"Guide, can you wait me up in 17 hours, just 30 minutes before the apocalypse begins?" I asked.

[Yes, Host.]

I nodded in relief since I would wake up at a perfect time if the Guide wakes me up. Yawning to myself, I lay down on my bed and fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, since a lot of stuff happened to me today.
