As the Knight swung his oversized sword at Duncan's face, Midori swooped in with her Original Spell and glowing blade. The fox child pushed Duncan out of harm's way and crouched to dodge the Knight's attack. Then, taking a deep breath, Midori closed her eyes and timed the attack.
"Seventh Seed: Ivy Tangle Of Virgo!" chanted the fox child as she vanished from her spot.
Midori leaped to seven areas on the Knight, slashing him at those points and creating orbs of green with red sparks. Then, as the child landed on the ground behind the towering enemy, Midori adjusted her sword to reveal an ivy vine bindling the Knight.
As the Knight tried to cut the vine, he was subjected to over a thousand poisonous needles piercing into the flesh. The child smiled as she tugged onto the vine, causing the seven orbs around Lancelot to explode into green mist, further suffocating the Knight.
The monster continued to howl in pain as he fell to his knees while grabbing his throat. Midori was horrified to see the enemy ripping his throat with his freakishly black and long fingers. At the same time, Duncan dipped into the Ankou's powers and ran by his twin to go on the offensive.
The boy wasted no time striking the injured Knight, hacking his arm away before stabbing his side. The Knight howled in anger as he grabbed Duncan's scythe and threw the boy away with a burst of strength. However, Duncan efficiently used that throw to his advantage.
As the child was midair, Duncan positioned his body to dive down to the Knight. Duncan landed a significant slash on the Knight while Lancelot struck Duncan on the shoulder. But since the Ankou had been active, Duncan's body defense was enhanced.
Both Knight and boy exchanged a multitude of clashes with sparks flying about. And every time Duncan wounds Lancelot, part of his body transitions into the Ankou's physical appearance. Midori had trouble trying to join in the fray and looked for Mordred for help.
"There's no way you can hop in now! The two of them are just too fast!" exclaimed Mordred, seeing both males duke it out in a frenzy of clashes.
"How about you? Are you fast enough to go in and help Duncan out?" asked Midori.
"I am, but you must allow me full control of your body again."
Midori sighed and agreed to the Knight of Rebellion, causing a bolt of crimson lightning to strike down on the girl. Lancelot was caught off guard by the flash, allowing Duncan to stab the enemy in his neck before pulling it out and retreating to his twin sister.
"Is that Mordred or my sister?" asked Duncan, in his entire Ankou appearance.
"Mordred here, reporting for duty. As per my Master's request, I shall defeat Lancelot with your help. How are we going to kill that thing?" questioned Mordred, as her armor surrounded her body.
"That's the same question I've been asking this past few Tocks. Unfortunately, we are not getting anywhere other than tiring ourselves out against this thing... You've got any ideas?"
"I've got nothing here unless this beast can talk. But for now, I'll take things off your plate and go on the offensive for you! It's been a while since I was allowed to fight freely, so give me this chance," yelled Mordred as she grabbed her sword.
The Knight of Rebellion smiled as she dragged a foot backward and crouched down to propel herself towards
"Oi! Keep in mind that you are still using my sister's body! I want to get home with her in one piece, you hear me?!" yelled Duncan as Mordred threw herself to Lancelot.
"No problem," replied the Knight of Rebellion as she plunged her sword into Lancelot's chest.
Seeing that the move would not work, Mordred pulled out the blade and punched Lancelot in the face, knocking his teeth out. But the Knight of Rebellion wasn't done as her sword was engulfed with red light. With one swing at the enemy, Mordred sliced the monster in half.
The Knight of Rebellion smirked as she leaped away from the falling Knight. But her smiles turned into disgust as the top half of Lancelot crawled towards Mordred.
"How many times do I have to kill this thing?!" roared Mordred as she held up her sword again.
The Knight of the Lake howled angrily, forcing his lower half to grow back within a few Ticks. Mordred spat in anger as she charged toward the enemy. Lancelot's Arondight was primed and ready as Mordred got close to strike at him.
"I've always hated your guts... And how you had the blessing of the Lady. But now, you are more annoying than the Knight of the Sun!" shouted Mordred, catching Arondight with her hand.
