The sword was now brimming with purple and white Elemental Energy as Galahad squeezed his eyes shut and poured everything he had into the weapon. The man was hoping for a miracle, and his wish would be granted. Mavislin grinned as she saw the sight before her.
"So you finally found a way to use your Magecraft to your advantage against me?" asked Mavislin, holding back the blast.
"Yes, and I'm sure it will stand up to that spell in your mouth! Make sure not to bite your tongue after this!" yelled Galahad as the Sword Balin glowed brilliantly in purple and white.
"Trample upon the hearts of men... Castle of Utopia has fallen and has allowed the despairs of the world to sink into its soil," chanted Galahad as his Elemental Aura flared up.
"The Valkyries!" finished Mavislin as she shot a giant pillar of light towards the waiting Knight.
"Corrupted Camelot!" yelled Galahad as he squeezed his eyes shut and dumped everything he had into the sword.
A sizeable holographic shield of purple and white appeared in front of Galahad's sword in time to clash with Mavislin's howl. As the two spells smashed into each other, large purple walls appeared by the Knight's sides, simulating a castle entrance.
However, unlike his shield, the walls were solid as they absorbed most of the impact.
"Despite being Corrupted or Blackened, do you still remember what Camelot looks like? There are some color changes, but the whole thing is still intact... However, something is off here..." whispered Mavislin as she prepared to brave the attack.
The clash was so great that the nearby waves were forced backward, and the rocks around them were completely disintegrated.
The Valkyrie smiled as she used her claws to fight back the spell and rushed into the heart of the blast. Galahad was surprised when he saw the Valkyrie's face in front of him, with her body in the middle of her spell.
"What the?!" yelled Galahad, jumping back.
"I told you... You've stood no chance of defeating me since you stepped into the ring. This is what it feels like to enter a war with us, with those that hailed from the stars. Farewell, Knight of the Heavens," greeted the Valkyrie as Galahad looked scared.
Mavislin grinned as she grabbed onto the Knight's face and flung him across the battlefield, causing both spells to vanish. The Knight groaned in pain as he was sick of flying around the arena without using wings.
Galahad quickly bounced back by landing on a rock and jumped toward Mavislin, only to get a shield bashed into his head so hard that he thought he would meet his ancestors. Instead, the poor Knight's limp body flew across the beach into a huge boulder, causing him to black out for a Tick.
When he awoke, Galahad nearly pissed himself at seeing Mavislin holding the Sword of Balin right at his neck.
"End of the line, Knight of Heaven," said Mavislin, stabbing the Knight's neck.
Galahad squeezed his eyes shut to withstand the pain and impeding doom but found that he was still alive despite having a blade in his throat. The Knight opened his eyes to see a smiling Valkyrie with a glowing gold sword in her hand. Before he could reply, Mavislin pulled the blade out.
The removal of the blade had caused Galahad to cry in agony while coughing up blood.
"What the hell was that for?! Are you trying to torture me or ruin my death?!" yelled the Knight.
"I'm trying to save you! I severed your bond with the King so that he won't be calling you back anytime soon. I don't know how long it will take for the King to notice, so better be aware of that. Now you've got the freedom to do whatever you like," explained Mavislin.
"What do you mean? And why my neck?! Because it hurts!"
"Oh, stop whining, you overgrown child! How should I know that it would be your neck?! Ask the King yourself. And kill him for me while you're at it, okay?!"
"Are you insane?! I can't kill that thing! And when I asked 'why my neck,' I was asking how did you know that it was my neck that needed to be stabbed?"
The Valkyrie sighed as she retracted her wings and pointed at her eyes.
"My eyes are special. It allows me to see things that can't be in the human vision. Though I wasn't sure, I saw something around your neck. I thought it was your Elemental Core, but then I realized that you aren't a Pure Mage so you couldn't have a Core other than your heart," explained Mavislin.
Galahad was still shaken from the incident and tried to get up, only pinned down by Mavislin's giant talon.
