"I didn't even get to provoke you yet, and you've already spilled the beans about your King?! What a joke! You aren't only the clown; You are the whole circus!" laughed Ashley, holding his stomach.
Finally, after a few Ticks, the Marksman regained composure and heaved a sigh of relief.
"Ah... Sorry about that, but I should thank you for giving me a good laugh. I haven't had one that strong for a very long time. And there's one more thing you've gotten wrong about me... I can hold onto your arrows because I am no longer human," replied Ashley with a devilish grin.
"I haven't been alive for a year by now, so I'm not considered human anymore. Yes, I was alive, but I had died. So that makes me immune to things that would affect human physicality."
Before Ashley could continue his explanation, Tristan let out a roar of anger and furiously began plucking on his bowstrings again. The Marksman shook his head as he skillfully dodged the onslaught of arrows by backflipping onto a stone wall.
"I will not let you get away! You will not see the light of day after I'm done with you!" shouted Tristan, continuing the assault.
"Bold words for someone who has already lost from the beginning, " Ashley replied as he shot down some of the arrows.
The Marksman closed his eyes as he held up his gun towards Tristan. The archer quickly held his large bow defensively, unaware of the enemy's next move.
"But since you are so persistent about using arrows on me, I should do the same. So it's only fair that I greet you with the same gift you have given me for the past Chime," said Ashley as his eyes flew open, revealing two aquamarine orbs.
The gun started shaking as Ashley got ready to fire at the terrified archer.
"This is the wrath of the Primordial Sea Goddess. The mother of the terrifying three sisters, Gorgons... Lynx Eyes! Round Five: Qintuple Arrows Of Ceto!" yelled Ashley.
The Marksman unleashed five bullets from his gun with Seawater Elemental Streams dancing about the area. The bullets soon turned into arrows and plowed through the many arrows that Tristan had created to defend himself.
But to Tristan's shock, as Ashley's arrows clashed with high bright red ones, they exploded into water like five water bombs. The Knight of Lamentation was so busy trying to avoid the explosion that he overlooked that Ashley had closed the distance between them.
"What?!" said Tristan as he saw Ashley crouching in front of him.
The Marksman wasted no time as he threw a punch right at Tristan's face but missed because the archer moved his head. However, Tristan's dodge meant nothing as Ashley was prepared as he threw another punch into the Knight's abdomen.
The punch was so great that it sent the Knight flying through four solid stone walls, slamming at the final wall with blood spewing out his mouth. Ashley lunged toward his opponent and started using Tristan as a new punching bag, giving the poor guy no time to recuperate.
If Bryan were known to destroy trees with a single kick, then Ashley would be the one to punch through stone walls. Unfortunately, Tristan had sustained quite a few injuries by the time Ashley was done with him.
The Marksman finally halted his rampage and delivered one final punch into Tristan's face. Anyone around the duel could hear the defending sound of bones cracking. The archer went flying, slamming into another wall.
Tristan instantly got up, albeit shakily, as he tried his best to retake aim. But with a face that twisted up, not even his parents could recognize him at that point. Tristan drew to full height and held onto his left eye, which was bleeding profusely.
The Marksman strolled towards the archer with his gun lowered. Tristan backed up upon seeing this sudden burst of confidence. The Knight feared that Ashley would have been a more dangerous monster than the one he fought against when he first came here.
The Marksman tilted his head to the side to invoke the chaos in his eyes. It must have been a while since he got to go all out on a target. And after that earlier assault, it would seem that Ashley might have to ask for a training partner very soon. Perhaps Mav would be a good candidate.
Ashley may look like a regular skinny boy, but his punches were anything but human. The man's hands didn't even bleed despite missing a punch earlier and breaking the wall behind Tristan. Not to mention that Tristan had to heal his jaw and internal organs many times.
The Knight of Lamentation was bending over as his spine was subjected to so much impact that it was broken at several points.
