Chapter 665 - The Ark Of Planet Mage Helps

As the holographic screens appeared all around the room, a giant screen was floating in front of the group, showing the surroundings of the Old Chapel in the natural realm.

"What in the world are those strings? Are those chains? Why are they shifting in and out of reality?!" exclaimed Ashley as he stared into the holographic screen.

"That's because they are meant for that exact purpose. Those are the Chains of Heaven, Enkidu. Or at least something along those lines. Its true name is Binding Universes, for it's meant to be used to tie down objects or people into a specific Universe or planet."

"And some fools have decided to use it on the Old Chapel because they figured that this place is not part of the Universe they live in," growled Gillian as he clenched his fists.

"What happens to us if they are successful at their spell?" asked Ashley, concerned.

"Then we risk everyone's safety because if they find a way to get in, I can't guarantee the wellbeing of all the occupants since my powers might be too strong for the children's bodies to handle. The Old Chapel is not a weapon, so the Mages within it have to be the attackers."

"And if they breach into this area, all Familiars will be recalled back to the place to defend the building."

"Gil, I think it's time to sound that alarm for that hermit. Let's pray that he has answered our summons fast enough before anyone gets hurt," said Z as he typed into a keyboard.

A few Tocks went by before the area started shaking.

"What's happening? Are we being breached?" asked Ysabeau, looking outside.

"No... That man has answered our calls! But... Why is he not with his army?"

From the screen in front of them, the Founders could see a single man dressed in slim armor with a black shirt and pants underneath. The man turned towards Gillian's Familiar and smiled as he pulled out two guns from his belt.

"Bullets are loaded; time to fire! My right gun has the planet Mars! My left gun has the planet, Mercury! Tie down the laws of the Cosmos... Flames of the Seas, Mix!" yelled the mysterious man as he aimed his two pistols at the object with chains.

"Celestial Bodies: Planet of Ice and Fire!" shouted the man once more as he fired the guns.

The Founders and Ashley watched in awe as the bullets became giant balls of fire and ice, swirling around the Old Chapel. Then, finally, the chains were shattered as Gillian's Familiar lost sight of the mysterious Mage.

"Come on in, Mage of the Planets!" said Gillian as he opened the portal for the Mage to hop in.

"You sure know how to give a last-minute call for something that I longed to do after the Congregation had fallen..." said a voice as a hand shot out from the portal.

Ashley backed away in fear as the person came through. But the Marksman's fears were calmed when he saw that the Mage was only a young boy with two guns and a smile on his face. The male had black eyes, hair, pale skin, and acne all over his face.

"I never thought that you liked conflict... You've always wanted us to leave you alone..." answered Gillian, scratching his head.

"I didn't want to meet Old Man Pond after that argument, so I sent myself off to the Eastern Forest. However, I'm alright with the few of you... And I hear that you've created a new group with other Mages... I was hurt when you didn't tell me your plans..."

Before the mysterious man could continue, his eyes widened as he gazed at the room's door.

"Oh. My. God. What have I been missing out on?! How did the few of you manage to get your hands on a Valokian?!" asked the Mage, grabbing Z's collar.

"Hey! Get off me!" said Z, throwing the male onto the ground.

Kyle landed on the floor on his rump before getting up excitedly.

"Yea... Don't even think about it, Kyle. That Valkyrie is not who you think she is... Your smell may be excellent, but there's no way you can detect her true identity," warned Gillian.

"Aww... Are you not going to introduce to me your new underlings? Or are you afraid that I would influence them?"

"No... I'm more worried about your well-being if you want to meet with the Valkyrie at your state. I don't know what has happened to your mental stability over the past century, but I'm not taking the chance. To be clear, the Valkyrie is the same one you heard from the tryouts."

"Is she the same one as the rumors had stated? The one being related to the Corrupted Being?"
