"Mother Mavislin!" called out the rest of the kids as they hugged Mavislin's legs in worry.
The children clung to the Valkyrie's legs, scared of what was happening to the Old Chapel. Finally, Mavislin dropped her severe expression and lowered herself to hug the children.
"It's alright... You have nothing to fear when you are in this home. So long as the Old Chapel stands tall and you do not walk out that door, you will always be safe and sound here. I promise," whispered Mavislin, squeezing her children.
"Before we could enter the place, the Old Chapel began to shake like mad! And then it transformed into some over-glorified sandcastle! But the front doors were wide open, so we rushed in with the kids. They are all in the basement while Clement is telling them stories," explained Tomoe.
"What stories? Or is the chef just reciting his recipes to the poor children?" asked Raiyen, making fun of Clement's hobbies.
"Nope... It's stories about the people he met when he was cooking for random people... Anyways, were we bothering a meeting? Shall we head back downstairs to where the rest of the kids are?" asked Bryan, sweating nervously as he saw Gillian's tired gaze.
"Yes, I will care for the children with Raiyen and my Pillars. Tomoe, feel free to do whatever you want, but it'll be best that you come and help us with the kids."
"I think I've reached my quota of taking care of kids for the day... So I'm going to the roof to relax as I find a way to kill the Stormbringer," replied Tomoe, vanishing out the window.
"When will my Familiar learn to respect the elders when he lives under their roof..." complained Raiyen, shaking his head.
"Fine by me. Pardon us for leaving so early, Headmaster and High Queen," said Mavislin, curtsying.
"You have been pardoned, and I will call your group back when we are done."
With the children running downstairs and meeting with the orphans, the ex-members of the Congregations were left to their own devices as they took their seats at the meeting table. A massive map of the Five Domains appeared on the table.
"Now then, let's get on with this. We have until a few Chimes or at least when another major thing happens during this conflict. But first, let's hone into Baldwin's area in the Teuton Domain," started the Headmaster, enlarging the map to see Baldwin's location.
"Hm... The Angry Man seems to be doing well in conflicts and working with the Mafia. And it would appear that the Marksman words still have a huge impact on the current Mafia Force," noted the High Queen with a grin.
"Well, VK and Ashley were close friends before the Marksman left for the Arks. But I'm curious as to why Minwoo would be walking around when he is dead..." said Z, with his voice trailing off.
"As I've said, let's put that thought aside for another rainy day. Starting from the air defense, what are your plans of attack? Or are you going to stay on the defense?" asked the Headmaster.
Ysabeau thought hard as the map brightened with white dots scattered across the lands.
"I'm going on the offense now as I am actively going to hunt down the Queen Of Sand, Vastra Araakali, in the Briton Domain. However, my fighters in the skies will be on the defensive as they will protect the citizens of Briton by taking down the dolls from above."
"As for the target, I will bring along the Slayer to aid in finding the girl," explained Ysabeau.
"That would suffice for now... Do you have enough fighters to cover the skies of the Five Domains?" questioned Gillian, looking at the map.
"I would've but only enough. If the enemy learns to attack us in the air, then I can't guarantee the safety of the skies," answered Ysabeau with a grim look.
"Then I will back you up by covering the coastlines of all Five Domains. That way, the areas would be divided equally for our members to attack any dolls or if the Mages decide to fight openly," proposed Z, smiling.
"That idea is fantastic, Grand Admiral. But if the targets decide to show themselves, I order all faculty to not engage in battle with them and step back. So I only allow Mavislin's Pillars and the Founders to battle with the Rogue Mages. Is that clear?" asked the Headmaster.
"Yes, Headmaster Gillian," chimed the two Founders.
"But even if we use our full power to kill off those dolls, from sea to sky, we would be fighting a very tiresome battle... So shall we deploy troops to find the root of the cause?" asked Z, worried about fighting an endless battle.
