"I trusted you because you gave up your life to protect me against my fallen brother... So tell me, are you telling me the truth when you said Minwoo couldn't be here?" asked Mavislin, with tears threatening to come out.
"Cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye. I guarantee that the real Minwoo is at the house, sipping iced coffee with a slice of bread in his mouth. And that he threw our broom at me because I was meeting you later," promised Ashley, bowing down.
"Alright then... I asked about his whereabouts because the letter has Minwoo's scent," said Mavislin, looking very conflicted.
"Let's put the mystery of Minwoo at the back of our minds while we figure out how to move our troops to stop the mayhem occurring in the Five Domains," said the Headmaster, snapping his fingers to summon the meeting table.
"Wait! How about Baldwin's choice to beat up Vincent? I thought Ashley said that doing so would be quite bad?" asked Raiyen, backing away from the meeting table.
"Nah... It would hurt the pride of the Mafia Force as they didn't get a chance of revenge against the culprit, but we need him dead for the overall picture. So I'd say go all out on that betrayer," said Ashley.
"You are a very confusing person to work with, Ashley 'Hawkeye' Dalles..." mumbled Raiyen, scratching his head.
"Then it's lucky I'm not under you, Prince Of Time."
"Even if I were to tell Baldwin not to fight him, I doubt that the Angry Man would listen. Very well then, shall we proceed on with our strategy?" asked Gillian, sitting down on a chair.
"Would you like Raiyen and me to stay? Or shall we go down and check on the children? By the way, where are the kids?" asked Mavislin.
Before anyone could say anything else, the door was swung open by Bryan and Tomoe with the five training Pillars behind them. Duncan and Midori were the first ones to see into the room and see Mavislin's new outfit. Then, as the adults entered the room, all five had a clear view of the group.
The Valkyrie's new appearance struck fear into the children's hearts. Midori could feel Mordred's fear and awe at Mavislin while the Ankou within Duncan was stunned at the beauty before his eyes. The Ankou threw his head back in laughter while Mordred was shaking in her armor.
"My goodness! What a splendid beauty! Oh~ Her mother, the Empress, would be so proud of Princess Mavislin in that dress, wielding that sword with such vigor and pride. And I can feel the power radiating from that Valkyrie... Do you not feel it, Little Lord?" asked the Ankou.
"Yes... I can see that Mother Mav is very elegant with her flashy clothes, but why is she showing off so much power now? Are we going to war now? How about us? Who will care for us?" questioned Duncan as the Ankou sighed.
"I haven't got the faintest clue, but I would presume that the Arks are mobilizing against the enemies. However, if we get summoned to ground zero, I want you to allow me to full control of your body to survive the fight, Duncan," requested the Ankou with an earnest expression.
"What's mobilization or ground zero?"
"I meant to say that if we do head out to fight with Lady Mav, then I want to take over your body since I would know how to fight against the enemy with the best tactics and skills. But, sadly, you are too young now to even face an unknown opponent, let alone fight in a war."
"I don't think Mother Mav is that heartless to toss us into fighting battles now since we just learned about our powers... However, I would be lying if I didn't say I look forward to participating in a duel against someone other than my friends," replied Duncan.
"Don't hope for something you have not experienced. That's akin to walking into hell when you enter the battlefield."
Duncan nodded since he had no clue about what the Ankou was saying. Meanwhile, Midori tried desperately to get her spirit to snap out of her fear.
"Mordred? Are you okay? Come on now... What's the deal with you? I thought you saw Mother Mav as an equal and best friend... So why are you cowering in fear as if you are afraid of her?" asked Midori, extremely pissed at her spirit for being so cowardly.
"Excuse me?! I have been dead for the past few centuries and have been sleeping in some dark space before getting summoned back to this world by your father. Thus, I have no idea how much power Mavislin has, but from what I recall, it wasn't that much!"
