"Wait, since when did Nasima can fly?!" asked Duncan, taking a closer look at the battle below.
"She can't because she doesn't have wings. At least, that's what we can understand from a physical standpoint. However, within my vision, I can see that Nasima uses solidified Elemental Energy to make herself float in the air. It's faint but strong enough to lift her tiny boy," described Circe.
The fire girl pointed at the light mist behind Nasima's back, and Ashley did note that there was something different about the air. Meanwhile, Amani was prepared to unleash the next stage of Leviathan, an offensive attack surpassing anything the boy had ever used.
Amani smiled as he smashed his shield in front of him, with the pieces turning back to Elemental Energy streams. As the boy did so, the creature with him started coiling around the boy while the Leviathan absorbed the Elemental streams from the shield.
The sea serpent was increasing in size as it continued devouring the arena's Water Elemental Energy, also known as the water vapor in the air.
"So the kids have learned another technique in Magecraft... The skill of solidifying Elemental Energy to objects and spells... It's a normal tactic for us, but for new people, it could be quite dangerous if used in high amounts," noted Ashley, looking at Amani's figure.
"These kids are getting too powerful for their safety..." grumbled Bryan, as he was forced to back off from the two kids' battle because of the growing beast.
And Ashley was quite confused as to why Bryan came back to the surface since the Slayer was supposed to be monitoring them below.
"Are you out of your mind?! I can't get caught up with that giant thing!" yelled Bryan as Ashley asked him what he was doing on the ground level.
"Then you are okay with the group's baby being left down there?!" argued Ashley, gripping the Slayer's collar.
"Damn right, I'm okay with it. Because I do not doubt that Nasima will turn that giant serpent into sashimi since her command of the spear is way more powerful than mine. Besides, Nasima doesn't look very scared against that giant thing."
"So I'm getting out of her way so I won't get sliced up as a side dish for the main course," said Bryan, peering down to see the finished form of Amani's pet.
Finally, after getting its fill, the Leviathan was now the size of the arena, with its body lined up to the walls. Nasima darted her eyes about, trying to estimate the size of the gigantic beast and formulate the best way to counter its attack.
The girl needed an attack that could pierce the hard scales of this beast, any barriers, and still have the attacking power to wound the beast fatally. On top of that, Nasima also has to find a way to deal with the main attack of the Primordial Beast of the Seas.
"Primordial Beast of the Seas... The Great Empress of the Seas, one of the rulers of Atlantis. Leviathan, let them know your anger. Let them know your wrath and power, for even Lucifer himself cannot compete with thee. Let chaos reign down on those who oppose you."
"The almighty being of the Seas, let your roars be heard!" yelled Amani as the beast surrounding him opened its mouth and roared.
The roar was deafening, causing the kids above to shield their ears from the noise. Usually, Nasima would've started crying since she was sensitive to noise, but she was too hyper-focused on creating the best strategy to win without shedding blood.
As for the giant beast, it made a beeline to the small girl but only halted a distance before her. It had stopped roaring and was staring intently at Nasima, challenging her to a power contest with Amani next to its head.
The scenario at the moment looked elegant, a fight between two children wielding the essence of the Primordial Beasts of old. Ashley and Bryan could only stare in awe as the two kids summoned the powers of the Ancient Times.
With Nasima being the embodiment of Ziz, ruler of the skies, and Amani using the Leviathan as a weapon, the showdown between the two rulers was going to enter its climax, giving rise to a very majestic end. Mavislin could not help but smile as she glanced out of the window.
"Hm? Is something interesting happening outside?" asked Z, peeking at Mavislin's side of the room.
"Yes, I am looking at two Primordial Beasts in the form of two children, fighting each other," replied Mavislin, wholly immersed in the fight occurring outside.
Z widened his eyes as he processed Mavislin's words and swung his head to see out the window. Mavislin was worried that his head might lob off.
