Circe clutched to her chest as Amani was strolling toward her. She needed to think of something fast. Closing her eyes was the most she could do, and she envisioned herself in a world filled with a sea of doors. The child would usually choose weaponry based on Greek Myths like Mavislin.
However, Circe could also pull out other bows from other legends if needed. Like Amani could use the Shield from Arthurian Legends, Circe pulled out the Gandiva from Hindu Myths. However, Circe noted that using the Greek Legends' bow faired better than the rest.
Thus, Circe needed to open all the doors that led to Greek Legends to make the last shot count. From Artemis' Huntress Bow to Chiron's Forever Aiming Bow, Circe had plenty to choose from, but she needed one that could be in tune with her Blood Mastery.
After Circe came across a door with a woman with lion imprints, she quickly opened it and pulled out the bow gifted by the Twin Deities of Hunting, Artemis, and Apollo. But as she was pulling it out, the door slammed shut, shocking Circe since that had never happened before.
To her surprise, the door was cracked and fully broken to reveal a hidden door underneath, one made out of flames. The sudden action caught the young child's attention. On the door, it read a name that was all too familiar to Circe, but the art showed a lady with horns and a terrifying mask.
But the child felt drawn to this particular door and could not resist opening it. Once she did, Circe found herself in a place of flames, and a beautiful set of bows and arrows was placed into her hands. This spell did not require any chants, and Circe was given this weapon on purpose.
Circe opened her eyes to find herself standing against Amani again. This time, she held onto the same bow and quiver of arrows as the one in her world. In addition, Circe had sprouted two red horns on her forehead and had some form of armor on top of her initial battle outfit.
A ring of fire surrounded the child, burning off the ice of where Circe stood and the surrounding radius. The opposing elements' clash almost ended as Amani was ready to unleash his spell. However, Tomoe instantly tried to jump down into the pit when Circe changed her appearance.
"Are you nuts?! What are you trying to do?!" shouted Z, holding the fox back.
"That girl has turned into a demoness! She-"
Before Tomoe could say anything, Z gave a divine thwack onto the fox's head.
"Please look carefully! She hasn't lost her sanity yet, nor has she turned into a demon! Besides, how do you know that she has 'turned into a demoness'?"
"Because the weaponry that Circe is holding belongs to the 'Tomoe' of this world. I am from another realm with completely different workings and myths from this place, but the name 'Tomoe' will always hold 'Demonic meaning' to those who cross paths with that name."
"The Inferno Archer of the Kamakura period. She was a force to reckon with as she had the strength to twist a powerful man's head right off as if he were a bottle. Standing right there in the pit, that's..." explained Tomoe, looking down in fear and confusion.
"Tomoe Gozen!" finished Bryan as he saw the sight before him.
The tales of the firey widowed archer were standing right in front of the Slayer. Though Circe was a child, the outfit as a whole seemed to fit her as if she were the legend herself. Bryan stepped back in fear as he pondered if he should allow the duel to continue.
But Amani's words of praised halted the Slayer's prevention of the duel, making Bryan realize that Circe was in complete control of her powers, unlike Midori or Nasima. Slayer Verna relaxed his shoulders before focusing back on the duel.
"Your power truly transcends my attacks, Circe. When this is over, would you share how you create attacks like that with me? I can't do it as well as you," asked Amani, giving a gentle smile.
Circe hadn't loaded up her bow yet and processed Amani's question before giving a prideful nod.
"My attacks are fueled with the power and thoughts inside me. So, if you want to know how to act more offensively, I will gladly teach you some moves. But, it's not going to be free, so that you will teach me defensive moves. Deal?" asked Circe, smiling.
"Of course! However, I'm sorry I can't use an offensive spell against this last clash. It wouldn't be fit for me. But I promise, this will be the one to win the fight," answered Amani, bringing the shield in front of him.
