"That's why I asked about the materials used for those dolls. Because getting porcelain is a stretch, getting bones might not be too difficult within the lowest districts in the Domain. People sell their organs like an open market when it gets insanely tough to survive."
"Raiyen, ever heard of bone china? They are almost the same, minus some details like the colors and thickness. But the biggest difference would be their essences... While porcelain has more rocks in the making... Bone china explains itself quite clearly," asked Z, staring at Raiyen.
The Time Mage took some time to digest the information before realizing what Z was hinting at. Raiyen felt his whole stomach perform the Hinokami Kagura in seconds as the truth dawned on him about those missing kids. The Time Boy felt sick.
"But bone china would be made out of cattle bones, right? Not..." said the Time Mage, steadying his stomach and head.
"Yes, but cattle bones are more brittle compared to human ones. Besides, looking at how many people have vanished, I wouldn't be surprised if Fabian had his own 'source' to fuel his company," replied Z, shaking his head.
Rina was visibly shaken as Mavislin glanced at the incident files. There were so many missing people reports that the Five King had failed to notice throughout the few years. It would appear that Mavislin would need to gather them together for a meeting about this issue.
But first, they needed to focus on the rogue Mages on hand, not to mention finishing the Orphanage by this week. So, Valkyrie focused on the profile for Merlin the Dream Mage. It would be interesting to fight a Mage lazy to conjure up Elements to fight.
Mavislin's mission at Albion to bring down these Mages would be tricky since the opponent has more people on their side. Not to mention that Fabian Brookes controls all these Mages to do his bidding to make 'money.' The Valkyrie felt sick thinking about it.
This operation would be the most elaborate plan the Arks ever had to deal with. All Founders are being activated alongside their best fighters. Everyone was still anticipating the Headmaster's opinion about the matter as a whole.
The Aki found that he genuinely wants to be hands-on and do a task again. The Headmaster hasn't spoken for the past hour and finally voiced his opinion about the entire matter.
"From what I've seen, these profiles are all aimed at us. Someone with the history of the Congregation's projects has crafted this elaborate scheme to have these six rogue Mages gain our attention. Our best guess is Fabian Brookes from the Briton Domain."
"I agree with Z that Fabian may be mad enough to use bones to create those dolls, but he could be a gravedigger. So far, that name doesn't ring any alarm bells in my head, so Fabian could be someone who had access to the Congregation's archives."
"Unless I can see a picture of who Fabian is, I cannot say for sure if I've worked with him. But, whatever it is, we now know that this Mage is out to get us. And I want to take that Mage up on their offer," announced Gillian, taking a step forward.
The Aki's sudden command and movement silenced the whole room as Bryan and Rina trembled in fear of the leader of the Arks. Mordred remained unmoved as the rest of the Founders stood up from their seats and stood at attention.
Mavislin and Raiyen grinned internally as the Headmaster sounded optimistic about the mission.
"It's been too long since I got a chance to go on a sting operation or a mission. And to think I would be seeing the Light God Of The Bow; Apollo, once again. I'm sure that he died that day, but it doesn't make a difference to me. Now then, I'll give the final instruction to this matter."
The Headmaster cleared his throat before giving the most incredible smile that everyone had seen in a long time. Gillian wanted to get his hands dirty as he'd always done back in the Congregation. Ysabeau sighed mentally at her overgrown child of a husband.
"First, we won't be moving at the same time to prevent them from attacking the rest of the Arks. But, we'll attack one after the other to give no space for them to recover. We might overlap if the need arises, but if one of us takes more than a week to take down the target."
"To break down their numbers, we need to attack individually and at different times. None of the Arks' lower members would participate unless it goes onto full-scale destruction like Tiamat in the Umbra Mission. So we'll have to seek the cooperation of the Five Kings as well."
