Raiyen was shocked at Baldwin interrupted the Time Boy's words. The Flower Mage looked horrified at the nonchalant way the Angry man described missing kids. But Rina quickly looked away before Baldwin could catch her look of shock. Out of everyone, Rina should know best about this matter.
After all, she spent a great deal of time kidnapping young women and torturing children to death, all in the belief of medical breakthroughs. But unfortunately, Rina relied on the blind eyes of police within the streets of Albion to continue with the 'research.'
Raiyen nodded in agreement as Baldwin took a closer look at the incident files of the vanishing children.
"Troublemakers. The rich daughters are troublemakers and misfits to their 'perfect and rich family'. For those who have launched complaints about their sibling but not their parents, the police force won't take action. I guess that's all for Fuijimaru Raijin's profile," said Baldwin.
"I propose to the Headmaster that I head for the Campania Domain after next week with Tomoe to investigate this matter. Then, if need be, I'm ready to engage the enemy in combat," announced Raiyen, nodding at the High Queen and the Headmaster.
"Very well, permission granted, Raiyen Harmony. Tomoe will aid you in this task. I hope you can work well together after such a long time of ignoring each other," said Ysabeau, smiling awkwardly.
The group then shifted their attention to another profile, someone Baldwin had been hunting down for the past few weeks, and took a break from the chase. When Z found out that a guy was causing a wild goose chase for the Angry Man, the Galaxian Mage could not help but laugh for an hour.
The guy would be the oldest out of the six targets in terms of physical appearance. Like what Baldwin has mentioned earlier, this man was a noble within the Teuton Domain before Earl Yan's death. He had turned into a philanthropist and adopted orphaned children.
However, after the Umbra incident, the noble had vanished along with the Orphanage he had created. Moreover, this person reminded Baldwin of a crazed Mage he knew during the days of the Congregation. Days of where ethics and the blade did not go well together.
The man's name was familiar to Z and Gillian. Speaking of that guy's name sent shivers to Z's spine as he recalled how many times they got summoned to hold that Mage down so he would destroy the Congregation's Headquarters. His name was Goibniu Conchorbar.
"I haven't heard of that name for years now... And I think my life would have been better if I didn't hear his name again. But, honestly, who let the rabid dog out?! Search up the definition of lunatic, and you'll find this Mage's face and name plastered on the entire page," complained Z.
"This guy was a Metal Mage. As the name suggests, this Mage could manipulate metal to his liking. Any weapon that comes to his mind can be created within a second in his hands. The only way we could subdue Goibniu was to use any form of Nullification Spells to buy us time to restrain him."
"Another way was to use materials other than metal to bind his body onto a stone table. I was not too fond of the idea, but it was the only way to prevent that Metal Mage from turning me into his next meal. He was part of my decade-long 'Asylum Of Oswald Project.'"
"It was an idea that Old Man Pond came up with to eliminate the Mages who had gone mad during the First Wave of Husks that touched upon Earth many years ago. As a result, we had an influx of Mages going insane due to the loss of their families or the effect of being touched by the Husks."
"Ten years of unethical procedure to 'cure them.' At that time, I was doing this project in secrecy, only blindly following Old Man Pond's instructions. Z was the one who trained me, and I had lost most of my senses by that point. Only when I could see my daughter again after so many years."
"Then, I could break out of my broken state of mind. But during the Asylum Of Oswald Project, I was a broken husk of myself and did not care about the tears or screams of others. My program should be quite big if you don't count Z's Unknown Children Investigation."
"Over two hundred crazed Mages were under my care for the whole decade. I'm surprised I haven't gone mad with them. As for things I've done... Let's say it's quite the long list of tortures and experiments done on them. And for the sake of the little one here, I won't list everything down."
