Chapter 524 - The Ark Of Second Frame: Queen Of Land Of Shadows

"When I dug deeper, Midori and Duncan's father is a Mage who can summon prominent figures of other worlds to aid in battles. These figures do not have a physical form, so they need a person to inhabit. Midori and Duncan's bodies are the perfect fit for these spirits to inhabit."

"I know Mordred Pendragon, the spirit who inhabited Midori, but I haven't got the faintest idea on who is helping Duncan out. However, I can say that the battle is far from over, so let's continue to see this duel unfold," explained the Valkyrie, innocently smiling at the duel below them.

Rina was fortunate enough to sense Duncan's surprise attack back in the pit. The Flower Mage was confused about why a wooden plank could go against her spear. Duncan had an unreadable expression as he allowed the wooden plank to break, causing Rina to tumble forward.

The child swerved to the side, gripped another wooden marker, and tried slashing at Rina's wings. But the Spearman Pillar caught on and ducked to miss the impending attack. Duncan quickly switched his grip and thrust the wooden plank like a spear towards Rina's head.

The Butterfly Mage turned around in time to block that thrust with her spear. Unfortunately, blocking that attack caused Rina to fall onto her back. Pain shot up her spine as she is pushed downwards onto the ground with a slam.

Rina was forced to use Petunia Rage to get out of her predicament. Duncan flew backward from the impact, but he broke his fall with a move that impressed Mavislin. The child stabbed his wooden marker into the ground while gripping it at the tip and swung his body back into action.

Duncan flew towards Rina with his left leg aimed at her neck for a kick, but the Flower Mage was familiar with the movement he was going for. Rina grabbed the kicking leg and twirled the boy by his ankle to throw him to the other side of the battlefield.

But the child wasn't fazed as he turned his body to make his feet land onto the pit's walls. Duncan focused his blood and strength into his legs and sprang into action with another Elemental attack at Rina. The film records appeared once more surrounding Duncan's body.

"The story continues! Encore, encore, they shout!" yelled Duncan, as two long wooden markers appeared on both his plans.

He broke the pit's walls by launching himself towards Rina with the two weapons on hand. The two Mage clashed again as Duncan's power became hostile like before. Rina was determined to stop him by using the Malevolence of Lobelia, but Duncan smiled at the futile attempt.

"The Queen Of Shadows in the Ulster Cycle. The Warrior Woman. The Lady who trained the Child of Light, Cú Chulainn. Some recall her as the Goddess of Death..." chanted Duncan, as the pieces of Rina's spear were being blown away by his growing Aura.

"Behold! The original wielder of the spear of pain and death... Second Frame: Queen Of The Land Of Shadows!" finished the boy, unleashing a flurry of attacks against Rina.

When the Flower Mage found herself unable to cope against the newfound power from Duncan, the boy backed away to the far edge of the playing field, much to Raiyen's confusion. But the Valkyrie knew precisely what was going on with the child of darkness's mind.

"Duncan is the Dementor Pillar. Both the Slayer and Dementor Pillars are supposed to be masters of their choice of weaponry. I give them the free reigns to choose whatever weapons they like to use in battle. Both Pillars are my main attackers if we ever head into war."

"The only difference between the two Pillars is the sanity part. My Slayers should be well-rounded in all aspects of combat, like how Bryan can wield a sniper rifle or a shield if needed. Members of the Slayer Pillar can use any Element they like or prefer."

"As for my Dementors, they are only allowed to use any Element associated with the Element of Darkness. This wasn't my choice, and I never liked segregating people based on their Elements. It was a rule ordered by Baldwin and the Headmaster to administer as one of my departments."

"I was told to take in the Mages who had broken minds and put them to good use, so I created the Dementor Pillar. The main focus for the Dementor Pillar is to use their ever-changing fighting style to their benefit on the battlegrounds."

"Rapid fire and constant footwork change would catch the enemy off guard. By hook or by crook, they are the exterminators of the battlefield. The members of the Dementor Pillar are not to care about the enemies they are dealing with and have one purpose only. To kill every enemy on sight."
