"I hold the power of the Oceans. The Element of Oceans has got nothing to do with water or ice. I could even use the grasslands as a spell if I needed. It's just more convenient to use the Element of Water in this Universe and age," answered Z, sighing.
"But... Isn't an ocean known as a body of water...?" asked Ashley, still confused.
Z sighed as he looked at Ashley with disappointment.
"Boy, you are lucky that you are dead and part of the Barren Pillars. Or else you're going to die again. You're going to die from my fat, Igor hands since I will soon strangle you. The phrase, 'An ocean of stars' applies to my abilities. If you see it that way, you will get it."
Somehow or rather, Ashley felt that Z was more like Baldwin right now. It looks like the man was deprived of sleep. But, wait... Ashley thought back to the earlier remark Z said about using Water Elements in this world...
"You mentioned earlier that this Universe and age was more convenient to use the Element of Water. Why is that so?" asked Ashley, looking at Z with his head tilted to the side.
"Well, this place has got more water in the air than my previous realm. I don't know if you'd noticed, but most Mages born here are mostly Water Mages. Even the first Element we teach the younger ones is the Element of Water. Saying that, I expect this little one to perform."
For Amani, the thousands of cards aligned in front of him was now reduced to just five. The five cards in front of him were unmoving and fixed to a choice. Which one will be his most potent attacking spell? He let out a deep breath and picked the one in the middle.
"One of the five rivers that encircle Hades in the Underworld. The home of traitors and complex frauds. The river that is made out of ice and water..." continued Amani.
Streams of water and ice were converging into his hands. Finally, the water streams around his hands solidified and created a giant beast and snow. It looked like a white, iced shell dragon. Its wings were small with icicles as its feathers. But the body size makes up for it.
"Caina, the first ring. Anternora, the second ring. Ptolomea, the third ring. Judecca, the fourth ring. Unleash them all at once!"
The beast moved, and the area shook. It was larger than most adults but not as huge as Fluffy. Amani sat on the beast's back and made the beast face Rina. Then, while the creature opened its mouth, Amani yelled out the spell's name.
"Wail, Cocytus!" yelled Amani, finally unleashing the spell on the Flower Mage.
A giant stream of water came out from the beast's and hurled towards the Butterfly Mage. It wasn't your everyday normal ice and water spell since four rings were helping to hold the spell together. And the colors of the stream were vastly different from before.
In between each ring was a different color from the rest. From the mouth of the beast to the first ring, the initial color was white. The section after the first ring was a celestial blue. The next section was aquamarine. Following that would be ocean blue. Finally, the last part would be lavender.
Thus, this creates a plethora of colors for the eyes to see. Circe's attack was mainly orange and red to signify her use of Fire. The spell of ice and water clashed with the shield, creating a huge shockwave.
"Interesting, I've never seen ice and water go through so many colors at once," said Ashley.
"You haven't seen the extent of Ice Mages yet, either. The color of Ice produced by the Mage can also represent how powerful they are or the type of ice they are using. I can't blame you. You've always been human until a few months ago..." commented Z, stuffing grapes into his mouth.
"I'm sorry, I'll have you know that I haven't been human for half a year now," argued Ashley, folding his arms.
"Wait, I thought you'd said that being in Euphoria slowed down your sense of time. Like, a month here was a day there?" asked Gillian, confused.
"Yes and no. I was saying that the concept of time within that place was haywire. It can be for years, months, or even seconds. It's a pain to understand it."
Back to the clash, Rina was using the same protection as before to block the attack, but things were different than Circe's arrow. First, Amani's power was weaker than Circe's earlier fire arrow. But that was in terms of Elemental Energy, even if he's got so much at his disposal.
