Mavislin was done with her meal and hopped off the chair. She peered at Bryan's discord face. The little Valkyrie hopped onto Bryan's lap, scaring the poor guy out of his thoughts. She then took the lobster on his plate and placed it near his mouth. He instinctively took a bite out of the crustacean.
"You don't have to give up your powers... We can just transfer the excess Elemental Energy away. Away!" cheered Mavislin, flapping her little arms.
"That might not work all the time. You're already defying the odds by being alive now and your Energy will increase each time you use your powers. What you need is to train your body to endure the rising Elemental Energy," suggested Baldwin.
Little Mavislin pouted and sniffled, indicating that she was about to cry. But Bryan quickly patted her head and whispered words of comfort into her ear. Everyone glared at the Angry Man, who looked away in guilt.
"No, that is physically impossible for humans. His body would start to give way before he could complete that. Elemental Energy within humans is different compared to its levels when in a Mage's body. Just because you think it's alright doesn't mean it is the same for them."
Now, this was a fascinating sight to see, hearing the Time Mage talk back to the Angry Man in a way that has no insults but just pure facts. Baldwin raised a quizzical eyebrow at the Time Boy.
"Your pain tolerance is not the same as another. I don't like the idea of taking Bryan's powers away but I don't reject it either. We don't know how bad it is for him yet, since he is only using more of it now. Humans aren't built to have Magecraft, they can only hold that much of power."
"Hang on a minute. I think I've got a better idea. You ever heard of the scenario that involves two containers and a hole on a specific side of the containers?" asked Z, looking at Bryan.
"Well, the theory is that if you pour water into one of the containers, it will never fill up since the water will keep draining. Why?" questioned Bryan.
"Pretend your body is the container and a weapon is the other container. What I'm planning might seem dumb but it's the best I can come up with after a day's worth of investigation," explained Z, sounding rather tired.
"So, you're going to make me channel excess Elemental Energy into a weapon of my choice? Wouldn't that be the same as my previous method of using glass balls to store my Elemental Energy?"
"No, it won't be. The glass balls could only hold a definite amount of power and since you used multiple within your lifetime, it's safe to say that your Elemental Energy output is off the scales. I'm talking about a weapon that can take in an infinite amount of Energy. Like our Ancient Relics."
"And having your powers split like that would be wasted. Which one do you prefer, a single, large wipeout or having to throw tiny balls at the enemy?" asked Z, raising his eyebrow.
"That's true... I don't like throwing that much. But, where will I find this weapon? I'm sure that creating it would be immensely difficult. I mean, we are talking about a weapon that can take Elemental Energy levels higher than an average Mage," said Bryan, still worried.
"You can look to the child in your lap for advice. She was the one who created the Five Kings' weaponry. She even created the training weapons that the new Mages uses. And those glass balls were by her as well, as you've known," suggested Baldwin, pointing at the happy girl.
She smiled innocently, tilting her head to the side. She paused for a moment before realizing that it was her cue to participate in the conversation. A small pair of white wings appeared on her back. Having seen her large wings all the time, Bryan felt awkward looking at small wings on Mavislin.
She then faced the tiny wings at Bryan. She shook them, turning the white wings into a rainbow of colors. Each feather was changing colors by the second, it was hypnotizing to look at.
"Take one! Pick one! Pretty colors all around, I'm giving one to you!" squealed Mavislin, wiggling her wings at Bryan.
It caused him to flush and a confused face appeared. He looked for Raiyen and Gillian for help.
"You want to get that weapon, right? Then you best be taking a feather. Valkyries will never stop aging. There is no Valkyrie in the record that has died of old age. They just keep growing because their bodies age with their Elemental Energy, like most Pure Ones," explained Gillian.
