As usual I sat alone in the classroom, everyone talking in the halls most likely. I didn't mind, I had a old notebook infront of me, sketching the room around me. I never thought they looked good but it was a good distraction.
I glanced up to see kids had started takeing their seats. I quickly close the notebook and stuff it into my bag. Before glanceing beside me, Alex wasnt their yet. I was worried but the bell hasn't rung yet so I just watched the door.
I study the kids who walk through when a pop of red cathes my eye. I glance at the bright red shirt to see Alex. Her sandy hair in a pixie cut, rusty eyes, half lidded as she watched her desk and 5'7. I softly groaned to myself seeing her freshly busted lip and red knuckles that were bound to bruise later.
She siliently sat in her seat next to mine. I barely listned to our dumb banter before the class started and her eyes fixed on our teacher.
I chuckle to myself as I do the same.
