In fear of what would happen if I left the room I stayed put. The emotional exhaustion knocked me out. When I woke up I slid off the edge of the soft cotton sheets. Slowly I creaked open the door, and peered into the kitchen. The boxes were gone. Everything seemed to be unpacked. Quince had vanished. If there was a time to examine the small, but luxurious apartment it was now. The marble countertops glistened against the artificial light that gleamed above my head. Stainless steel on the fridge so clean I could see my reflection. Just below the main doors of the fridge was the freezer. I bent down to see the interior. When I opened the bottom half I was startled! With a slight jump back into the island counter behind me I yelped. An overwhelming amount of frozen meat was present. There wasnt a label, and they werent properly wrapped like from a store. Quickly, I closed the freezer. To the left of me was the living room where the main door stood. It taunted me the more I gazed at it. Irritation trickled through my body as I lunged for the door grasping the knob twisting it, and turning it with all of my strength. Soon after I began to bang on the door, and scream.
"HELP!"
My pounding increased.
"PLEASE SOMEONE LET ME OUT! HELP ME!" I cried out. My throat became hoarse, and each scream became harder than the last. In defeaf I slowly sunk to the floor. Suddenly the door opened abruptly, and knocked me out of the way. Quince slammed it behind him. Then his icey gaze met mine.
"Why are you making so much noise?" He said with growl in his voice.
"I was hoping someone would let me out..." I rasped.
He laughed, and walked into the kitchen. I got up from the floor, and stood on the opposite side of the kitchen observing him. Quince glared.
"Better not get any stupid ideas Bailey.... You need to eat by the way.." He spoke softly this time.
"Eat what? All of the mystery meat in the freezer? Ill have a heart attack." I reponded.
"Thats not for you. Thats for me. I have provided other food for you." He said as he reached into the upper fridge, and pulled out a container of mixed fruit. Then he placed it on the counter, and slid it towards me. I approached the fruit with caution, and took the container. Immediately after I then retreated back to the room. After awhile I had finished off the fruit. It was a mix of pineapple, strawberry, cantaloupe, and honeydew. Which was delicious, and refreshing. The one positive in this hell hole. The moment was soiled due to Quince making an alarming entrance. He walked eerily to the bed, and climbed on. Then the removed my fruit container from the bed, and onto a night stand.
"What do you want?" I asked. However, he didnt answer. The only response I got in return was him aggressively yanking the blankets from underneath me. Then he wrapped his strong arms around me, and pulled me under the fluffy comforter with him. His warm breath on the back of my neck sent a shiver down my back. He began to hold me tighter, and he planted a light kiss on my exposed shoulder.
"I dont like this. I dont want you to be touching me." I shuddered out.
"I can assure you that I could make this worse Bail." He said coldly.
"Dont call me Bail!" I screamed as I struggled in his arms. Abrasively, he climbed ontop of me pushing me down. Then he pinned my arms, and leant down.
"Dont be silly.." He said in a sickening tone before placing his lips on my neck. Where he roughly kissed, sucked, and bit at my skin leaving hickeys behind where his soft lips visited.
"Please.. Give me time...!" I moaned out. He released one arm, and with that hand he caressed my cheek. Then delicately pressed his lips onto mine. I gently returned the kiss. He then pulled away. His face was calm, and the ice in his eyes had melted away for the first time.
"Okay." He whispered. Without haste he exited the room.
