The next week had slowly arrived as Kiara had gotten to the point where she had finished half of the song demos that she had been working on the past while...
Crumpled-up pieces of paper had littered her room due to the fact that she grew frustrated everytime that she didn't like how the melody had sounded once she tried playing the said song that she had finished to review it didn't sound like what she had hoped for before deciding to record a short demo of it using a sound recording app on her smartphone.
Her mother got worried upon seeing the mess that was the "music sheets" she had written and discarded, offering her help, the progress for the song compositions had drastically improved upon having it be listened to and critiqued by her own mother- Rosaria, well-known among the pianist community who had an ear for musical compositions.
"How about adding a gentle melody on this part here?" Her mother suggested, pointing at a certain bar on the piece of paper that had a progressive-like melody written on it.
And so, Kiara tried to quickly think of a original progressive tune on her own, playing certain note combinations that came up on her mind- all that she deemed worthy enough to even bother playing on the grand piano that she had spent hours in-front of for a few hours upon finishing her homework, before she had gone to sleep for the evening.
She found that by doing it at that time actually had helped her come up with interesting-sounding melodies and lyrics.
She also secretly wrote lyrics in school once she had made sure that no one could peek on what she was writing down on a notebook that contained some random lyrical compositions that she had written before that point of time, she had also done this during the free time that she had gotten during the ride to her next job as an idol- but she found this on-the-way composition wasn't as efficient as doing it at home or at school so she stopped doing so and focused on doing it at the said two locations instead.
But of course this wasn't always the case at all, on her first time of trying to do the said "writing" at school actually got her into quite the predicament when someone who hadn't noticed had somehow snuck up behind her as she was spacing out in the midst of her on-campus brainstorming.
"What're you writing there, Ms. Kiara?" A voice suddenly had come from behind her, giving her quite the unexpected scare that made her swiftly close her notebook.
"Oh, it's just you, Ms. Midori... Please don't scare me like that..."
Don't tell me she saw....
"My apologies, it's just that you were quite the absent-minded expression that I couldn't help but ask about what you were writing down." Her classmate Midori, who was also one her so-called " followers" with a eager-to-know expression apologised.
It doesn't look like she saw a single word that I wrote just now... In that case...
"I-It's nothing, really..." She swiftly placed the said notebook back into her bag, making sure that the zipper had properly zipped.
This too obvious of a lie did not work on the said classmate, with a raised brow she said:
"Pardon me for saying this but you're expression was too interesting for it to be nothing..."
A cold sweat went down Kiara's spine as the girl that was infront of her had admitted that she showed no interest on dropping the topic anytime soon.
"W-Was it?" She stammered, all of the other students- especially the other members of her self-proclaimed "entourage" had taken notice of their conversation as Midori spent more time conversing with her.
In desperation, she attempted to call one of those girls using a from her the said student group which was seated a few desks away from her who had been the first to look their way when Kiara had gotten startled using a slight nod to beckon her over.
"What is it, Ms. Kiara?" The girl that she had called over had a legitimate "rich girl" aura around her, with her natural straight long hair, she silently and quickly went over.
If my memory serves me right... her name was...
The amount of students and other students at the campus that she had interacted with on a regular basis had made it pretty arduos for her to remember every single one of their names right of the bat, due to this, she actually had made it into a habit to categorize every single one of them by the first syllable of their name.
Oh, now I remember...
"Sorry to bother you, Ms. Risa. But, are you currently busy?" Kiara asked, though she had already known the answer already- judging from the way she was just messing with her phone.
Upon hearing the inquiry toward her current affair, her eyes lit up- she felt rather happy that Kiara had specifically called over. "No, not particulary..." She stated, she wasn't one of those "entourage" members that were lively or proactive with their interactions toward Kiara, she was mostly the timid type of girl that would get shy over a simple compliment from a girl that she had taken a liking to- in which case, it was Kiara, who had helped her at their school's library when she had been carrying quite the haul of books.
"Ok, in that case..." Kiara whispered what was currently going on with her and Midori as to not let the said girl hear what she was about to attempt to do about the her current problem.
"O-Ok, that's fine... but..." Risa was hesitant to what the person of her liking had in mind.
What Kiara had whispered to the timid girl was: she needed to find a way to distract Midori in order for her to be able to quickly think of a topic, she couldn't think one up while the girl stared at her straight in the eyes.
Did I ask for too much from her? Should I have asked her to pretend that she had plans with me during the break time (which was currently going on) to get away with that notebook with me?
Kiara had grown worried about wether or not Risa would manage to do it without getting shy, though in truth, she actually wanted to help her get rid of her timid side.
