Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 [A sudden announcement and the same wierd dream]

"You're gonna be recording your first single tomorrow." Kiara's father announced when she got in his office when he called her.

"eh?"

With a smile on his face he continued: "You heard me, The composer and the lyricist just finished working on the songs of your first single."

Is he serious...?

No way... This is too soon... I'm not even mentally prepared for it and I've only had two months worth of training, I couldn't possibly do this... This has gotta be a prank, right?

Kiara thought getting off the elevator where the floor that had a recording studio was.

The audio sample of the aforementioned songs were played by the audio engineer inside the sound booth through a pair of monitoring speakers, with the first song being a slow paced song just like an instrumental of a ballad.

The song had a jazz-like feel to it but it was well-balanced with the other traits of the song making it into the perfect first song of her first single.

After the song had finished playing Kiara was told to go into the soundproof room which was half of the same room that was seperated by a wall just like what was in the radio station except the room inside the agency that she was in was only for music recording and not for broadcasting purposes.

With a signal from the sound engineer inside the previous room which had a big piece of soundproof glass acting as a window connecting the two areas of the same room the recording started...

With the slow tempo of the song she was able to sing in-sync with it without any problems.

The recording went smoothly without a problem except on the third song where the chorus was hard to sing due to the tempo suddenly going up by a specific ammount.

"That's it for today."

Kotori declared opening the door of her car for Kiara who had a tired throat from the long recording session.

Oh thank godness... I thought I still had more stuff on my schedule...

She ended up falling asleep on their way back to her house where she was gonna be dropped off after three minutes of looking out of the car's window which showed Tokyo's streets during the night.

"You were born to be a legend..."

A voice in the dream that she had while she slept in her manager's car.

"What?"

She answered back, but the voice did not... but instead a figure of a woman wearing a white gown-like outfit appeared in front of her inside of this said dream, with a smile on her face she continued: "As well as your future child" as if she had predicted the future somehow and she just disappeared waking Kiara up in the process.

Eh...? Was that just a dream...? That was way to freaky....

"You sure slept like a log back there, Ms. Kiara."

Kotori jested seeing that Kiara had just woken up.

They weren't at her house yet but instead they're currently stuck i traffic making the journey longer that expected...

With the rubbing of he still half asleep eyes she started to look out the window of the same care seeing that they were indeed stuck in traffic from the rush hour.

Who was that woman...? Why did I have a dream with a woman that I don't know in it...?

I've been getting the same dream everytime...

Still confused she shrugged those thoughts off and took out her phone from her schoolbag to get her mind off of the said dreams that she's been having for the past ew days and just messed around with it to pass the time while they were stuck in the rush hour traffic neverminding what ever that dream was about like it was just nothing.

Huh? Is this...

A news headline was displayed on her smartphone's screen with the title: "A New Star is About to be Born!" written in big bold letters as well as her own name written on the web page.

They're over exaggerating this whole thing... It's just embarrassing...

Feeling a bit embarrassed at how the media now treats her, she just closed the webpage and just went to another trying to forget that she ever saw that article.

The traffic finally started moving... Thank god...

The car she was on slowly went forward as the other cars which were in front of it moved bit by bit as the traffic had finally started to decrease.

"Welcome back, Kiara."

Her mother greeted standing by the door as if waiting for someone still in her business suit giving off the feeling that she had just gotten home from work.

I think I'm gonna have a sore throat tomorrow...

Kiara slowly made it up to her room on her family's mansion's 2nd floor where her room was located after replying to her mother with a: "I'm back, Mother" in English instead of japanese since that was what hr mother prefers to speak to her in instead of japanese.

Is mother waiting for someone...?

Kiara looked back as she got to the 2nd floor towards the door where her mother had still been stood near of still waiting.

"Miss Kiara?"

Her personal maid Aoba a girl with white hair and red eyes attempted to avert her attention as to stop the chance of her falling down the stairs that she had just gone up of...

"Y-Yes? What is it?"

Kiara quickly turned to where Aoba's voice had originated which was in front of her a little bit startled.

"The bath water has just finished heating up, Would you like to take your bath first?"

"Y-Yes"

Still feeling a bit startled by Aoba who suddenly spoke up she shakingly replied to the white-haired.

haaah... Why was I made into an idol, anyway...?

Now in the bath tub Kiara started to become curious about this whole arrangement with her parents making her an idol all of a sudden after she had turned sixteen years old last year at the talent agency that her own father owns and runs, it could probably be because of her having a voice that could be described as a voice of an angel when she sang... But, It could also be her talent at playing the piano so well that her piano instructor actually called her the ancestor of mozart...

Which ever reason it was, her parents just suddenly decided it themselves that they'd turn her into one after waiting for her sixteenth birthday to come.

It was more like something that you could call a "impulse" due to how suddenly they decided.
