Ella worked on the dresses putting them around their own busts, and making sure she got the right measurements. As she worked she said "how could he do this to me? How could he go off, and betray me like this? I thought he loved me, but I was wrong. Now I get to watch him with other girls dancing with them. Daniel must have forgotten about me, he must have forgotten about our love. I should've never left I should've told him how much I loved him, an how much he meant to me, but I didn't, and now he's going to get himself married. Hmph an engagement! Well I'll look him dead in the eye, and tell him that I could care less of what he does with his marriage! I knew it was all just a big fairy tale! I was so dumb to believe that we were more then just childhood love." She sowed parts of the dresses together, ripping away at fabric, and threading needles. She continued to work as the thought of Daniel getting engaged to someone else played in her mind.
The hours went by, and Ella had finished with her's and their dresses. Ligia, and Tiala entered the room, and Ella said "try on the dresses I want to make alterations if need be." Ligia said "well it took you long enough to make these dresses." Tiala said "yea Ella you need to move faster, and stop being so lazy." Ella said "my apologies." Ligia took her royal blue dress, and Tiala took her gold, and lace dress. They both went to their rooms, tried it on, and came back. Ligia yelled "are you stupid its to big around the waste!" Tiala shouted "and mine's is to long." Ella said "that's why I'm having you guys try it on now so that I can make alterations so it fits just right when you go to the ball tomorrow night." Ms.Hilda walked in and asked "what is going on in here?" Ligia shouted "she messed up on our dresses to make sure that we would look ugly tomorrow night." Ella said "no I was having them try them on so that I could make alterations to the dresses." Ms.Hilda slapped Ella, and shouted "how dare you try and ruin their big night!" Tiala said "she's just mad because the prince is going to pick one of us instead of her!" Ms.Hilda said "you will not ruin their big night!" Ligia said "mom I don't want to wear these dresses! They are ugly, and I hate them! Please mom can we go, and buy our dresses?" Ms.Hilda replied "yes Ligia we can as for Ella you can wear these ugly disgusting dresses!" Ligia, and Tiala left, changed back into their old clothes, came back, and threw the dresses at Ella. Tiala said "here you can take out trash dresses seeing that that's all you are is trash so take our garbage and wear it!" Ligia said "good one Tiala." Ms.Hilda said "well my darlings lets go, and buy dresses, and you Ella can clean up this mess!" Ligia, Tiala, and M.Hilda left to the village while Ella cleaned up the whole house.
As Ella cleaned, she couldn't stop thinking about Daniel, and what happened with his, and her parents. Ella said "why did I have to get so angry with Danny's family? Why did they have to ask so many questions? Oh Danny would never believe me if I told him that I was Ella. He would probably tell me to leave. I'd loose him again. He's looking for me! Maybe its time I tell him the truth. Maybe its time I tell him I didn't die in the fire all those years ago. Maybe its time I tell him that he can stop looking for his princess because she's looking him in the face." Ella leaned up against a wall, and said "me Daniel's wife. If you asked me 10 years ago I would've thought it was gross, but now I can't even dream of being apart from him any longer, and when the ball comes I'll officially be his wife. Wait! What am I saying? If Daniel wanted me he wouldn't have this ball to get engaged with some random girl he's never even met! He'll probably fall in love with some other girl, and I'll just be a useless memory. Me with Daniel! Hmph! I sound ridiculous! Daniel can have who ever he wants why would I think he would choose a girl like me. Someone who can't offer him anything. It was fun day dreaming about him, but I think I know where this is going to head."
While Ella was cleaning Daniel was getting fitted for a new suit he was going to wear for the ball. In the tailor room with him were both Daniel, and Ella's parents, and the tailor who was measuring him, and fixing the suit. Daniel's mom said "my little boy is going to get married." Ella's mom said "to my daughter." Daniel replied "I'm nervous for the ball tomorrow night." Ella's dad asked 'why? Aren't you in love with her?" Daniel said "of course I love her. I'm nervous that she won't show up. What if they hold her captive, or what if she chooses not to come because she thinks I want to marry another? he probably thinks I've forgotten about her. It'll break my heart if she doesn't come." Daniel's dad said "its in God's hands now all we can do it see how it plays out." Ella's mom said "God will make away I promise." Daniel's mom said "if you can find her after this long you can find her again whether she shows up, or not." Daniel said "alright I'll trust Him. I'll leave it up to God."
While Daniel was talking to his parents, Ella was cleaning up the house. The hours past, and Ella cleaned up the house, and had dinner set on the table hot, and fresh. She heard, a loud slam at the door, and Ligia, Tiala, and Ms.Hilda entered the dinning room, (where she was at) with bags in their hands. Ms.Hilda shouted "well don't just stand there take our bags." Ella took their bags, and Tiala said "put my bags in my room, and make sure my dress doesn't get wrinkled!" Ligia said "and put my stuff in my room, and if there's one wrinkle you'll pay!" Ella said "yes my bosses and walked up stairs to put away Ligia's, and Tiala's stuff. She came back down ad walked in the dinning room to see Ms.Hilda, Ligia, and Tiala eating. They finished eating, and Ms.Hilda said "Ella clean this mess up, and get some rested! Tomorrow is the ball, and I want you up, and ready to help my daughter, and niece get ready. One of them is about to get engaged, and I want them to look their best." Ms.Hilda, Tiala, and Ligia left to their rooms, and Ella cleaned up the mess, did her nightly routines, and went to bed.
