Rachel works in publishing house. There she was an assistant editor. Rachel always loved reading novels and even to pen down her own thoughts. She was always been told that she really has a good skill of writing and if she would give her complete focus on her writing skill she could be a good writer. Rachel was not only a good writer but she was having few qualities that were quite appreciating.
Being a single child of her parents she was there sweetheart, but since she loved being independent, she was not living with her parents. She had a rented apartment in new York, and on weekends she use to go to see her parents.
From past a year Rachel is working really hard on her career, and she is improving day by day. That improvement could be seen in her promotion, and raised pay. And even her new rented apartment is much more better than the before, and even she is about to buy it.
This one year had changed Rachel a lot. Though she was climbing the ladders of success in her professional life, she is still missing David somewhere in her life. David her world, love of her life and might be the reason that she had crazily worked hard in her career so that she could forget him. But its said, its easy to explain brain, but difficult to illogical heart. And her heart was illogical, with her own reasoning of his departure.
Anyway, she was in New York and though not a very social person, managed to make a few friends there, few but great.
"Rachel, its Saturday night, we are going to pub and you are coming with us." ordered Kate.
Kate, party animal and the crazy friend of Rachel, who always tries to find a nice guy for Rachel.
" Fine ma'am as you say." Rachel replied obediently with a smile.
Rachel and Kate reached pub, where Jack; Kate's boyfriend; Mathew and Charlie were waiting for them.
