Chapter 6 - Chapter 5 Raven

"Where could we possibly look to find this guy?" I muttered to myself. We were scouring the databases of different orphanages to find Crystal's long lost twin brother. It had been a few weeks since her 18th birthday, and we haven't seen anything.

"I'm taking a break," I said, turning on the TV.

"Okay, I'll join you," Crystal said, closing her laptop and sitting next to me. She moved out on her birthday, and rented out the extra room in my house.

The news imidietly started up.

"We got news on the Connor Stroll case!" The reporter said, "He was murdered a few weeks ago, and the murder was convicted today. An 18 year old named Alex, an orphan. He was charged with second degree murder. We are actually visiting him right now. Say hi to the camera, Alex."

The camera pointed to the guy. He had white hair and red eyes. He matched the exact description of who we were looking for. I turned up the volume.

"Hi," He said. He sounded like someone had taken away his will to live.

"So how are you liking prison so far?"

"Eh, life can't get any worse."

"Why did you murder your classmate?"

"I didn't, I was framed," Alex said plainly.

"Was there any particular reason?"

"He was a bully and an *******, but I didn't murder him. " He said. Swear words were bleeped out.

"Would you consider ever killing anyone again?"

"No. Again, I didn't kill anyone. I was wrongly convicted."

"You seem really set on this. Why did you agree to an interview if you weren't going to give us any information?"

"The prison offered me a room change, because I hate my roommate," He responded.

He placed his hands on the table in front of him, and looked very annoyed.

"If it's not too touchy of a subject, can you explain the story behind your missing finger?"

The camera zoomed in on his hands, showing the ring finger on his left hand, or the lack of one.

"Oh, that. It's not a very long story, but it's the reason I was in the orphanage," He said, "When I was about five years old, I did somethin' to annoy my birth father. I got to school the next day, my teacher noticed, and had me sent to the school nurse. I told the nurse what had happened, and I was taken away by the Child Protective Services. My mother lied and told them that it was an accident, so they didn't take my twin sister too."

"Did you have anyone particular at the orphanage that you cared about?"

He nodded. "One kid, I won't specify name, I really did care about. He was like a brother to me, and I wish I could be there to protect him."

"Do you think they'll visit you?"

"I don't know. When I told him I was bein' arrested, he said he would visit me sometimes, but I don't think that the orphanage will allow him to."

"Why?"

"They never really liked me over there."

"Why won't you specify who this child is?"

"I don't want them to get made fun of, and I certainly don't want them to get bullied."

I looked at Crystal, and her eyes were wide with shock.

"That's him. It's definitely him!" She said excitedly.

She pulled her phone out of her pocket, and called Ayro. As the phone was ringing, I gave Crystal an odd look.

"I didn't know you had his number. When did you get it?" I asked.

Her face went a little red.

"Ooooohhhhhh, I get it now," I said slyly, giving her a cheeky smile.

"Shut the fuck up," She whisper yelled, glaring at me.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ayro,"

"Oh, hey Crystal."

"We found my brother."

"Really? That's great!"

"One problem. He's in prison."

"Well shit. Looks like we're going to have to visit him or something."

"We should break him out. This feels really important for some reason."

"We'll work out the details in person. I'll come over tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay, we'll meet at Raven's house."

"Great. See you!"

"Bye!"

Crystal hung up the phone after the conversation. Her face was all red, I could tell. She defiantly likes Ayro.

Woopie. Yay. I am so happy. Full support goes to my best friend. It's not like I'm surprised. I should be used to rejection at this point.
