Takamura and Sakamoto made their way towards the Omlet Arcade. Unfortunately for Haru, he couldn't participate and went home early.
When they arrived, they saw a sign in the front of the arcade shop that they will only be holding 7 matches tonight. The possible thing is that; this is the company's only way to attract more audience and make the arcade shop popular.
....
7 pm.
Haru was laying in his bed and was imagining Akatsuki's worried face when he fainted. He was foolishly laughing.
A few seconds later, his laugh was suddenly broken by a ringing sound of a phone. He hoped it was from Akatsuki. Haru got up from his bed and picked up his phone from the desk and saw the caller's ID.
"Yo! Haru! You were so lucky! They picked you again in the draw and won't be participating today!" Laughter was sounded from the other line. It was Takamura.
"Oh" Haru only said one word. He was feeling happy and at the same time disappointed.
"They will do seven matches today, eight tomorrow and eight after the day tomorrow."
"Haha, that's good then!" Haru just laughed.
They chatted for a bit and Haru decided to hang up. The room was once again filled with silence. Haru was fighting his thoughts on whether to chat with Akatsuki or not. Haru then picked up his phone and dialed Akatsuki. The phone rang for two seconds and was canceled. He again dialed her but the same thing happened twice.
"Sigh, guess she's still mad." Haru again layed on his bed with his hands on his head.
"Haru, time for dinner!" there was a knock on the door.
"Coming!"
Haru and his parents ate dinner. The dinner consists of sushi, rice, and tempura. The three of them talked about Haru's injury while eating.
....
Omlet Arcade.
"Last match of the night! Sunset Glow against Life Fantasia."
Unfortunately, Airi will be participating in the tournament today.
She arranged her hair and went to the stage. When she arrived, she saw a woman in her thirties grinning at her from ear to ear. She just nodded at her because she was wearing a face mask. This protects her from getting recognized.
Maybe someone who her parents knew, will tell it to them.
It was also used so that none of her schoolmates can recognize her.
After the pleasantries, she began to arranged her placards while secretly stealing glances from the woman. After pondering for a long time, she decided that the scissor sign will be first, paper on the middle and rock on the bottom.
"Round one, Show us your cards!"
She showed her cards to the audience and to her opponent. When she saw the woman's card she was slightly taken aback because almost all of the contestants lost in the first round.
"It's a tie!!"
"Round two! Show us your cards."
When she again raised her cards they was again the same which means the last one was also the same sign.
"Round two and three are a tie!!" The host announced feeling excited because this was the first time it happened at the tournament. The spectators will also be likely to spread the rumors around, which will gain them more popularity.
Suddely the audience members came to an uproar.
"This is the first time it happened right?"
"Yeah, it's actually pretty exciting"
"Oh my god! A triple tie"
"Not a big deal, that happens a lot of the time" Suddenly a teenager said loudly which made some of the audience glare at him.
"Shut the f**k up!" Takamura shouted while hiding behind a vending machine so that no one will know where the sound come from.
"If we die here today Takamura, i'll hunt you and beat you up in the next life." Sakamoto said in a cold sweat looking fiercely at Takamura.
Fortunately, the audience favored Takamura and cursed the teenager until he ran towards the exit.
Airi then began to pick a card. She picked the rock placard and looked at her opponent who already was done picking.
"Round Four, Show us your cards!"
"Sunset Glow wins!"
