It had been a whole month since the incident with Zadkiel and Liam. Liam was still barely moving, do to the thundering pain that rolled through him with each motion. Vladimir would watch him, gather food, change the herbs and the cloth. His back had cleared of the burning from the Seal. Soon Liam woke, opening his hazel colored eyes and he muttered, "Where are we?" he was clearly still weak.
"In a cave, near the gate to Hell. I teleported us here, to keep you safe while you healed..." Vladimir explained bluntly as he was cooking fish over the fire that was about five or ten feet from Liam. Liam forced himself up and he winced and he looked at Vladimir who was watching him.
"Your wounds are healing nicely, but it will take the muscles a very long time to Heal" Vladimir muttered as he he was to tired to care if he was understood. Liam nodded and he was watching the fish and he was thinking.
"Thank you Vladimir, If you can keep us hidden from Zadkiel and his men I will begin to work on your seal." Liam spoke with more confidence then before. Vladimir looked at him and he nodded and he removed the little cloth that remained from the once good shirt so that Liam could look at the seal. Liam rose, with a wince and went to vladimir before sitting behind him and he rested his right hand in the middle of the seal.
Liam's right hand glowed a red and then turned orange before returning to red and repeating the process, "How many archangel's placed this seal on you?" His voice seemed quiet, as if he was thinking aloud.
"Um there was a total of eight, including Zadkiel.." He murmured thinking back to the day the seal was placed upon him. Had that really been so long ago now? he closed his eyes.
"that explains the pentagram...these symbols...." he murmured and he noticed that the center symbols were now gone as well, thanks to his own powers of unsealing. but taking the one symbol had taken too much power, it would take months to remove this symbol, and by then Zadkiel would rule or attempt to rule the Heavens.
"Give me a few to recoup then i will try again, we must hurry. I have a bad feeling that something big is going to happen eventually" Liam spoke and he looked at Vladimir, whom remained still, "...Right..."
"How long do you think before the damn thing is off of me?" Vladimir asked Liam looking at him with hopeful eyes.
"If my powers are truly as weak as they are now, we are talking roughly 26 to 27 days or weeks or months.." Liam said dissatisfied with his magic as it was now. It was as if he was beating himself up about something that was not in his control.
"Don't worry about it the moment I get the seal from my back we can talk to Satan, I am sure he hates Zadkiel and would love to help us eliminate him." Vladimir said attempting to reassure Liam. though Liam wasn't so sure he decided that it wouldn't hurt him to listen to Vladimir on the matter. After all Vladimir knew satan more then he as he thought he knew god.
It was raining out, the sound of rain hitting leaves of trees and bushes, the ground and the cave's roof, the two boys stared out to the rain, as if they were watching a memory fly by them. Liam began to remember when he had first became an angel, from dying in a war for the human's versus the hog warriors. It had been a long, cold and bloody battle. many were injured but more were killed. Liam at the time was named Samuel and he had been taught in the ways of a sword and the ways of a bow and arrow. Though the leader of the hog warriors was much stronger, and wasted no time in killing Samuel. He had died a quick death and he woke to the white gates where he was welcomed by God. God had renamed him Liam and spoke carefully, "Welcome to heaven, with the power that you had as Samuel, you shall be a guardian angel. Can I trust you with this job, Liam?"
Liam had been so happy to be a Guardian angel and he hastly nodded and said he would do well. After getting assigned to a human, he watched the human, her name was Anna frost. Nothing was more beautiful, he had thought. but one day she had been killed by a Hog warrior, and Liam was unable to save her in time. God became furious with Liam, telling him that no matter what the human was suppose to live to the assigned time, Anna had died 14 years too soon. Anna had only been 23 at her murder. Liam was distraught he felt horrid, like a killer for not saving Anna in time. Months turned to years and training was consistent for Liam, then he was given a second chance, with a boy by the name of Daniel. The boy was 22 and he worked three jobs and he had a boyfriend. Which had thrown Liam for a loop.
But the more Liam watched the two male lovers the more he felt like that was him, how he was as well. He had managed to keep Daniel alive to the age given to him of 99. God granted Liam mercy for Anna's death soon after. Liam had then continued to be assigned to people until he was granted a break from being a guardian, that was when he met Adam. when he had first met Adam they had fallen in what Liam thought was love, though he was quick to find that Adam was not a man of commitment. But Liam felt that Adam loved him so he did what Adam asked but that lead to him being removed from heaven.

Vladimir had been looking out at the rain as he remembered becoming a demon. He had been a hog warrior in his human life, infact he had been Leader daniels. He had killed many left few injured and he loved seeing the blood shed, all the blood and the dead bodies had him excited. He had been killed by a group of eight towns men, shortly after killing a man with a sword and a bow.
When he arrived at hell he looked about, there was nothing pleasent of peaceful about this place, and he grinned and he was greeted by Satan, who had been pleased with his human life. he was renamed Vladimir, and given to Kilmarnock, to raise and nurture to be a true demon.
As the time had gone by he had forgotten his human life and began to call Kilmarnock his father. then the war happened and Kilmarnock was killed by an angel of the name of Liam Valentine. Revenge was boiling in Vladimir's heart and he would go to earth as if to calm his nerves, killing humans and animals, alike then returning to hell and doing as Satan ordered him.
Soon the two snapped back to reality and looked to one another, "Well good night Vladimir" Liam spoke standing up and stretching and he winced walking to his spot in the cave near the fire and he fell asleep in a heart beat. and so did Vladimir.
