Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

"so that was a horrible plan." Asami looked at Asami with a raised eyebrow. Fuji shook his head at her, not even shocked by the fact she was not phased by what just went down. "yeah I've realized we cause more trouble together than help." He rolled her eyes at her to which she scoffed.

"why couldn't you realize that before we decided to be matchmakers for our bestfriends." She looked up at him with an questioning gaze and Fuji exasperated at her question raised his hands, flustered he yelled,

"hey the plan was yours!" She leaned back in her chair as she took a sip from the iced green tea in front of her.

"well what do we do now?" she asked Fuji, hoping the smarter of the two can come up with a better plan.

"you take Hime and I'll take Akita, lets help them make up." He said determined to fix things between their best friends. She smiled influenced by his determination she got up.

"yeah besides I'm pretty sure Hime can't stay mad at Akita for long." They walked out of the cafe and both went to find their friends.

"good luck." Asami yelled towards Fuji who was walking the opposite direction to Akitas place.

"you too. see you after school?" He smiled and asked her to which she grinned back and replied, "yep."

Now you must be wondering what exactly went down and what are they going to fix. Well as you remember they came up with a plan to be cupids for their friends Hime and Akita. The double date to get the two to make up however went conpletly wrong when real goons showed up in stead of the hired actors Fuji and Asami were expecting. Getting into a terrible fight with eachother the boy and girl left the cage mad. Hime was mad at Akita for yelling at her for not running. Akita was mad at her for not being serious in such a situation. The both didn't know that the fault lied in their bestfriends plan gone wrong. Hime had found out about it but didn't expect the goons that showed up be somehow be real ones. Oh Asami had a headache just recalling it. Knowing she had to explain everything to her bestfriend and make sure they made up she dreaded the confrontation between Akita and Hime again. If they made up of course she would be happy but the scowling she was going to get from both sides afterwards was what she wanted to run away from. She sighed, ''oh to be a youngster."

Asami walked in to class and saw Fuji sitting next a fuming Akita. He had a bar of chocolate in one hand and a drink in the other. If Akita had not been form a family that cared about their image then Fuji would have already been a goner it seems. Well boys friendships were fairly simple. She knew the two would not remain angry at the other for long. Her on the other hand was worried at the prospect of losing the one good friend she had just made in this town. "Hey Hime, listen about what happened with Akita and the goons. I'm really sorry but this was a plan me and Fuji set up for you and Akita to get... well... closer to each other. It clearly did not work out. I know it was stupid and I completely understand if you don't want to forgive me-" "Asami you don't need to explain, I forgive you." Hime said with a smile on her face interrupting her friends rant. "I know you would me mad but- wait What?!" Asami shouted in surprise. "Silly I know you to meant well i would not be angry for that. However, please don't do such things in the future. If Akita wants to get closer to me he should have to courage to confront me forwardly." Asami was impressed with the girls calm demeanor. She understood Himes' point though. She admitted she would not like a boy to take a sly route either. However Akita was not to be blamed in this situation either. Obviously it was the stupid operation cupid plan that Fuji and I thought was brilliant too blame in all this.

The four met up afterschool the atmosphere much more peaceful then it was previosuly. Akita had forced Fuji to treat us in return for his forgiveness. "Asami you so owe me." He whispered in the girls ear. "I don't owe you anything. I did my half by calming Hime down, your friend using this as an excuse to empty your wallet is a problem between you and your friend." She smirked a the baffled boy who was thinking how the master of the stupid plan got out of this scot free and he was paying the price. "You city girls really are cunning." He muttered

"Not all of us," she laughed, "just me."
