"This is your shot Raman go ahead", team captain cried. As the match was progressing the crowd was getting more and more enthusiastic and thrilled . The crowd was continuously cheering for him and his team who was doing so well , they were in the semi finals. Raman was the lead scorer in the entire tournament and because of his performance his team
has done so well in the entire tournament and now here they are playing finals , this football tournament has turned out to be the best for these boys of Pandit Ramashankar Inter College , for first time they have been performing so constantly well and their consistency helped them to easily enters into the finals . Raman was a average student in the class, in every exam he somehow managed to score 50-60% and he was satisfied with whatever he scored in the exam but not his parents , they had doubts in their mind regarding his future , they knew football had no future in india and also there financial conditions wouldn't allow them to pursue his dream for long , they have always dreamt about their son becoming an I.A.S officer. Raman was the only ray of hope in their lives and they have had lot's of expectations from him like every other parent. His father was a clerk in a private firm , His mother was a homemaker and all the miseries, pains or suffering they have been handling or going through in all these year with a belief that whatever today is happening is an indication because something bigger and better awaits for us .
Raman knew all what his parents did for him and also what they expect from him , the nights they spent on empty stomach while feeding him properly and that to full stomach , the early mornings which his mother has dedicated for several years now just to make sure he and his father be on time for their job and school, the money his father has saved by travelling on bicycle just to have money for his education ,the whole day his mother used to be in kitchen or other household works so that Raman and also his father when back at home must get what they want , the extra time his father has spent in office and other activities of office just to earn bit more , those days when her mother wasn't well physically, mentally and emotionally but still she had performed all her so called duties (I don't know why peoples have this mentality that all housework belongs to or is the responsibility of a women and it certainly not their duty for sure , the only reason they had been doing all this is just because the love they have in their hearts for their family . There's something else I want to know from all Womens is that how manage to do everything even when a volcano of thoughts had exploded in their respective minds?) ,the uncountable number of days his father gave to his office even in bad health condition when he was unable to stand and can barely sit on chair just because if he took any leave his whole day salary would be cut which according to his was important for him more than his life .
Raman's Daily life was simple like every other student , he used to wake up at 5 in the morning after that he went to ground (near to his home) where he used to run for 45 min continuously and then he used to do some sets of sit-ups , push-ups and squats . He used to go for school by his own by 8 o'clock . In school he not only study hard but practice hard for football in any and every free time he used to get during school time , if not satisfied he used to stay in school for an extra hour just for practising in better way . His friends used to make fun of him and his dedication towards a sports which has no presence in our country (It's ironical but they are absolutely right in their opinion about football or soccer , the game of soccer doesn't found relevance in real life but only and upto LaLiga ,Premier League, UEFA Champions League, English Football League, FIFA world cup and other leagues) , He never have concern for what others were thinking about him and his passion for football and all he did was to continue his effort and never let his failure to shatter his passion and his dedication , he use to return home at 4 in evening afterwards he used to did his homework which he barely completed and most of the time he wasn't able to understand a word about it .
Raman's passion originated from the moment when his sports teacher in class 6 made aware him about various sports and out of which he found football has some spark in it ( and a kick as well!!! ) , It wasn't that he never heard about football or how it's played but it was his sports teacher explanation and passionate description which caused him to get attracted to football . He watched Christiano Ronaldo for Portugal in FIFA world cup which absolutely blew his mind away , he was super amazed with the way he kicked football , the way he used to take the advantages of penalty shootouts , the way he tackled his opponents on field and most importantly his style , The another football player who fascinates him now very much is Zlatan Ibrahimovic who according to him is the excellent forward playing guy in the world , he learnt quite few techniques from him , he liked Lionel Messi and has his Barcelona FC's T-shirts as well . Raman had collected some stickers of various football player and country or the team they play for , when some important matches were about to held ( related to his favorite ) then he used to plan his whole day according to it but during his examinations time his parents didn't let him watch any match and sometimes no TV policy was implemented .
