She ran through the corridors looking for him. When she saw him, he was surrounded by the same group of girls from the cafeteria. They were talking about something when all of them giggled and he smiled, she slowed down, contemplating her decision to come to him.
Luke was finding it hard to deal with this group, they were being way to obvious about everything, his eyes fell on Nora who was standing at the end of the corridor lost in her thoughts. He immediately ushered the group inside and went for her, "Nora." He called out. She jerked looked at him, seemingly relaxed. "What are you doing here, weren't you done with your classes?" He asked.
"I uh. Yes." She said.
"Are you okay?" He asked, at her dull reply and cupped her cheek. She looked up in his eyes, she had to tell him how she felt but was at a loss of words but she had to tell him, no matter what.
She took a deep breath. She went for the collar of his shirt and pulled him down, standing up on her toes she closed the distance between them, then she closed her eyes and kissed him on his lips. A thousand of thoughts came running to her mind, she shut them all out and concentrated on the person in front of her, Luke. She let go a moment later but did not raise her head, "Don't. I don't like it when you talk to other girls with that smile. You're mine and so is that smile. Don't do that."
Luke was taken by utter surprise by what she did. Now he looked down at her with a big smile. He tipped her head up by her chin, her face and neck were beet red, he chuckled, "Oh Nora I'm all yours. No one can take me away from you. You don't have to worry about anything." Bending down he kissed the corner of her mouth and trailed up kissing his way to her ear, "I got to say that kiss was really something sweetheart, but it wasn't quite right. I have things to do or I would have loved to teach you the right way." He bit her earlobe lightly. He straightened himself and looked at her, "Don't worry. I am all yours." He smiled at her.
Nora freed her face from his hold, "Okay. Call me when you're done." She stuttered.
"Yes I will." He said.
"I'll go. You should go too."
"Yes I should."
She took a last glance at him, he was looking at her with amused and warm eyes. He was all confident and composed while she was a wreck. But her heart was finally at peace, beating a thousand times per minute. "Bye." She murmured.
"Bye." He cupped her face, "See you soon." He gave her the smile which made her melt.
He looked at her walk down the corridor, "Oh my Little Nora." He smiled and shook his head and went inside the classroom.

"You did what?!" Tina shouted.
"Don't shout!" Nora calmed her. Telling her that she kissed Luke seemed like a bad idea but she told her anyway and now Tina was the one going crazy.
"Wow Nora. You're always one step ahead." She patted her back. "What did you say to him afterwards?"
"I asked him to call me."
"Okay so it's already two hours, I think now we wait a little longer," Nora's phone rang, "or not." Tina smirked and picked it up, "it's him. Go for it girl."
"Hey. Yes. Okay. Sure, I'll be down in five." Nora hung up, "He called me downstairs. I'm going."
"He said anything else?"
"No."
"I always knew he's a man of few words. Go Nora, and see what he has up his sleeves."
Nora ran downstairs and saw him standing across the street, in a pair of jeans and a white shirt with its sleeves rolled up, looking classy as hell. Nora ran up to him, "Hi, you waited long?"
"No, only a few minutes." He held out his hand, Nora looked down and gave her hand in his. He laced his hands with hers. "Let's go."
"Where are we going?"
"Lawson park." He looked down at her.
The walk to Lawson park was great Luke looked at Nora beside him. It seemed as if she had completely forgotten about what happened this afternoon but he knew very well about the act she was putting on. His eyes fell on their locked hands. Her small hand was completely engulfed by his. "Your hand is so small." He brought their laced hands to his lips and kissed hers. "No. Yours is just too big." She teased.
"What's so interesting here? I come here almost everyday." Nora said.
They first took a long walk in the park and had ice-cream. They also watched a basketball game where Luke joined a team towards the end, which also ended up winning the game. And now he brought her to the Lawson bridge.
"Be patient Nora." He was looking around, "There. Look." He pointed at something in the shadows. Nora looked in the direction and squinted her eyes trying to focus on the objects. She later realised it was a pair of swans. They swam out into the light. Their long necks were elegantly arched towards each other, forming a perfect heart, they swum together in sync, not breaking delicate shape. Nora looked at them with awe. They were beautiful, under the moonlight and the undisturbed water reflected their beautiful formation.
"They're beautiful." Nora whispered. She bent on the railing and watched the beautiful pair, looking into each other's eyes.
The silence was broken when something fell into the water which scared the pair away. She sighed and looked at Luke, "They flew away."
"I saw them here a few days ago, thought you'll like it." He shrugged.
"I did." She happily wrapped her arms around his waist. He looked down at her and smiled, "Anyway Nora do you remember what happened in the afternoon?"
She pulled away, "What are you talking about?"
"You really don't remember what you did?" He closed the distance between them. She shook her head, "No."
"I see." He grabbed her waist and picked her up, she squealed. He sit her down on the railing and held her by the waist. "Put me down." She yelled.
"Answer my question." He shrugged.
"Yes l remember." She gripped on his shoulders tightly, "Now put me down."
"Not yet. You remember what I told you after that?"
"Yes I remember the whole thing." She said.
"Look at me Nora." His voice deep and stern. She stopped and looked in his blue eyes, they seemed darker, and shone like blue sapphires. His facial features became sharper under the moonlight. "So can I?" He asked, his voice was stern but there was a need in it.
Nora looked at him, it was something she avoided every time but today she didn't want to, not anymore. She nodded. He smiled softly and then moved forward standing between her legs. His hand moved up to the back of her neck and held it gently, while the other gripped her waist. He closed the distance between them until they were breath apart and then softly planted a kiss on her lips.
This was totally different from what she expected, Luke's lips were firm, yet gentle against hers, she let her eyes close and took in the feeling. He bit her lower lip, she gasped, and then she felt the warmth of his mouth in hers, he took over her mouth. The kiss was gentle and passionate. Something that made her forget everything, she wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him closer. He smiled against her lips, and tightened his grip around her waist, pulling her close, and tilted her neck, getting more of her mouth.
When he broke away, she was breathless, he looked into her eyes and saw the specks of gold in her eyes. "I'm dangerously close to falling in love with you." He smiled.
She blushed and looked away, her heart was racing, she had never felt anything like this before. She found it hard to accept, but this kiss did things to her, her hands went up to touch her lips. "You liked that?"
She nodded and heard a chuckle, she turned to look at Luke looking at her amused, "We could do that again."
"We can?" She asked in a daze.
"Yes." He pecked her on the lips bringing her back to her senses. She flushed and buried her face in his chest. He laughed, she looked up at him, his laugh was beautiful and then buried her face again and wrapped her arms around his neck.
They remained like that for a few minutes, Luke broke the silence, "How long have we been together?"
"Two months." Nora murmured.
He sighed, "It took me two months to get you to kiss me, sweetheart."
Nora felt a small pang, "I'm sorry."
"Don't be, it was worth the wait." He held her close, "but –" he trailed off.
"But what?" She looked up at him. He chuckled at her reaction, "You're not a good kisser." She scrunched her nose and he kissed it.
