Chapter 27 - Sightseeing- Part 2

Tania's Dada ji then went on to described about another life she had undergone for a period of 10 years. She was born in a village near Kiev the capital of Ukraine and was named Anastasia. She could not remember the name of the village but recalled that its name started with the letter 'K'.

At the age of 10 years, she, along with her parents, died when their farmhouse had caught fire. This painful incident took place on the Christmas night of 1991. Though the fire was due to a short circuit, the people in that village considered it to be the mischief of the neighbors. After all, there was an enmity between Anastasia's father and the neighbor regarding land. A number of altercations had taken place, and the men had almost come to blows on a number of occasions.

The fire had occurred on the Christmas Day when the erstwhile USSR had broken up. There was chaos everywhere. Independent countries came up from the old USSR. Ukraine was one of them, and it became an independent republic.

Since she was a child, she could not recall much. However, she had informed that the neighbors were an old couple. The woman was nice, but the old man was not. They had a son whose name was Fedor. Fedor had got married recently, and his wife's name was Nikita. They were Gagarin by surname.

"My God!" exclaimed Tania's Dadi ji and went and hugged Tania.

"She was killed twice and by the same person."

"We need to ask Nikita, and her husband was Fedor isn't it?"

"No! We can't do that! "Her husband exclaimed in frustration.

"Yes, you are right. Nikita will probably side with the story of the husband. "Mira replied.

"You two are talking to each other as if I am not present in the room, "Tania decided to say something with annoyance, "It is not nice to be ignored."

" Beta, we were not ignoring you; we do have a problem and you cannot be left alone with Igor."

"Yes, your Dadi ji is right." responded her Dada ji.

"Tomorrow, we will all head for the remaining sightseeing trip of Moscow. But will try to cover half the remaining places not all as we got tired last time."

"Mira, I want you to extract as much information as you can from Nikita about her husband and her father-in-law as well as her mother-in-law."

"Ladies are better able to extract such information without letting the other know that information is being gathered."

"Do you think she will stay anything bad about her in-laws?" Mira thought and added. "She will praise them to the sky."

"Ask her about her life after marriage and how her in-laws treated her. Were they liked by the neighbors, etc.?

"Ok, I will try but you keep that fox away from her son by handling him. If he comes in the vicinity, he will definitely influence his mother." Mira replied.

"Sure, Madam, Tania and I will walk with Igor."

"Now that we have a plan of action, let us sleep."

Saying this Dada ji and Dadi ji left their granddaughter's room and headed back to their room.

These nights since her PLR therapy had started, Tania was sleeping better. No nightmares and no visitors from her past lives.

Next day, everyone woke up looking for their bed tea and breakfast.

"I will be taking you all for a sightseeing tour of Moscow again today."

"Last time we had visited 9 places mainly the Moscow Kremlin, Saint Basil's Cathedral, the Red Square, the Grand Kremlin Palace, the Cathedral of Archangel, the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics, the Ostankino Tower, the Moskvarium and the Sparrow Hills."

"The places left to visit in Moscow are Pushkin Museum, Kolomenskoye, Novospassky Monastery, Kremlin Armoury, Diamond Fund, Losiny Ostrov National Park, VDNKh, Bolshoi Theatre." Tania said.

"Hermitage Museum, Krestovsky Stadium, Peterhof Palace are in St. Petersburg, which is about 700 km away from Moscow. It takes 8-9 hours to go by road and about 2 hours by flight."

"There are several to and fro Sapsan high-speed trains from Leningradskiy station in northeastern Moscow to St. Petersburg which start at 5.40 am. The train is less, and it is the faster method of transportation. We will take that up in our next sightseeing visit."

"Be ready at 11 a.m. There are places which we could not visit that day. At least we can visit 5 of them today and the rest of the 6 within a few days."

At 11 am everyone assembled at the main door of the house. Tania took out her car, all got in and they were off.

First visit was the Kremlin Armory which is one of the most fascinating places to visit in Moscow which is located within the premises of Moscow Kremlin. Kremlin Armory is a unique museum that has put up about 4000 unique and precious belongings from 1851 on display. It is situated in the heart of Moscow.

They then went to visit the Diamond Fund which contains precious stones and jewelry, It was established by Emperor Peter I of Russia in the year of 1719, this gem of a place resides within the premises of the famous Moscow Kremlin.

Their next visit was the Pushkin Museum. Tania described it by saying," It is the best tourist places in Moscow to explore a wide range of European masterpieces. The museum is divided into three sections covering Byzantine art, the Renaissance, and the Dutch Golden Age."

Then they visited the Novospasskiy Monastery which dates back to the times of the 14th century. Novospasskiy Monastery happens to be the first monastery established in the heart of Moscow.

Thereafter they drove past the Bolshoi Theatre where the finest live performances of opera and ballet have been witnessed by art and culture lovers.

"Since nothing is happening here today, we will just drive past it," said Tania.

They then drove past a place called VDNKh. "VDNKh for Moscow is something like Pragati Maidan for Delhi. It is one of the popular Moscow sightseeing places,"explained Tania and added, "VDNKh is short for Vystavka Dostizheniy Narodnogo Khozyaystva and it is a grand trade and exhibition center in Moscow." "Numerous palaces, fountains, architectural marvels, arches, and pavilions are here to enjoy yourself."
