The door opened as I stopped staring at the window and tried to sit.
I can see smiles and look of relief in there face. Thomas Strom my first friend since I came to this world he was a burly old man with tan skin and a bold head. Despite his looks, he was a gentle and kind man when it comes to his friends and family. Thomas was a warrior that uses a two-handed war hammer that combines with his extraordinary strength, he was unrivaled in the battlefield. Eugine and Maika Argrid the Twin elves who never gave up in becoming strong in spite of the hardships the faced. They were a pair of fraternal twins, Eugine was a boy with a slight lightly mischievous personality, he had silver hair, blue eyes, and slender build. He specializes in using the bow. Maika has a slender build with blond hair and green eyes. She always put her hair in a ponytail. She was the same height as her twin brother and she specializes in twin dagger and was an assassin. Regina Novas the classy Noble who treated me kindly throughout our first meeting until the final days of our journey. He was a good looking girl but she hides the fact that she was a dragonewt. She was one of the strongest species in this world but she never fought in the frontline. She was a merchant and supported us in the rear. She was excellent in handling our finances. And finally king Leon Everglades the one guy, who against all odds, never gave up on me my best friend in this world and my companion who was with me in defeating the demons. He had the charisma that every king needed. He was a tall blond-haired man. His eyes were heterochromatic, one was blue and the other was gold. He said he wore an eyepatch when he was young to hide his different colored eyes. When we first met he was just a prince. He was about my age, nineteen when we began our journey, it was 4 years ago, now after I woke up a ceremony was held to crown him as the new king.
As they entered memories of our first encounter and countless battles we went through rushed through my mind. The memories of trials, sorrows, and pain we went through in these past years. Those memories rushed through me like a river.
I smiled when I saw them approach. Though I thought it was fate going here, I left many things unfinished in my homeworld and I needed to return.
As they were laughing and smiling, I said. "I needed to return to my world. I need to go back" when those words left my mouth, everyone stopped talking and stared at me.
Few moments past, then Leon sighed and spoke breaking the awkward silence. " I thought as much. But If you stay here, you'll get fame and fortune, there are even proposals that I make you a duke." as he said that I saw tears in the eyes of my companions.
" I know, but ... (sigh) I never planned on staying. I have my little sister and a sick mother waiting for me back there." I said "I'm one of the heroes who defeated the invasion of millions of millions of monsters. Besides that, not many people are not to keen on the idea of a foreigner to be a noble much less a duke. Just tell them that I died due to the wounds I received from the demon king.". As I was saying this, I hardly believed it. It was just like the novels I constantly read in my spare time before I was summoned.
As I was finished saying those words, I saw many of them were holding back their tears. The twins jump to me and started crying out loud, then everyone followed.
I patted their heads and said, "so this is goodbye."
"Please don't go," Maika said as she was crying.
"I need to go home" I sighed. "I want to help my family. Specifically, my sick mom. If I stayed here I can't help them. You know what I mean, right?"
She nodded as I brushed her tears.
"Maybe someday, we can see each other again," I said as hugged them. They were close to me, like my own family.
"Someday, when you return here we will be stronger than you Jean I promise that." Eugine stands and stared at my eyes with conviction.
" I'm looking forward to it," I said. And bump fist in his chest.
" When are you leaving?" he asked.
Everyone looked at me.
" A few days maybe," I answered without hesitation. " I'm going to travel to find a way back to my original world.
I made eye contact with Leon. He understood what I want to do. He nodded and clapped his hands to gather their attention to him and said, " Alright, let's give him some alone time, for now, He needs to recover his mana and stamina."
Everyone reluctantly left the room. As soon as the left and their presence distance themselves to the room I spoke to Leon.
" I'm leaving tonight," I said.
Leon was shocked to the extent his mouth was opened agape.
A few days later, an announcement was released to the public that a hero died. It caused an uproar.
The funeral was sending his body to his homeworld. This was his last request to his friends.
Many of the people wanted to attend but the king made a few compromises he used magic to project the image of the transfer so that the public would see.
Thus, the adventure of the most powerful man in the world of "Jean Phoenix " came to an end.

A few days have passed since I return home. As I was transferred back, the time in the other world was just a few days compared with the years I spent in the other world, many of my friends were worried that I suddenly vanished without a trace.
When I came back, there was an uproar. I got home I was wet and dirty. I teleported at the school at night, I purposely went to the forest at the back of the school and spent the night there to organize and sort my thoughts.
I was harshly scolded by my little sister. She spent the whole night yelling. But after that hugged me so tight and she started to cry. I patted her head and said, "I'm back."
Thus may mundane life starts once again... or so I thought.
