Chapter 30 - Glad To Be Here

It wasn't no where near his plan today to meet Wu SuYi. She had stayed in his mind for the longest he could remember. So much that his entire day filled with her even though they hadn't met for a couple of days.

Rui had came up with an idea of wanting Han XiGuang to meet Wu SuYi. The boy was sometimes too clever for his own good but as his father, he felt proud that his son understood him.

Han XiGuang deemed himself as a heartless person. It wasn't because he thought himself as the worst person in the world, but he had seen to what extend his heart could be cold to the people around him.

He was still wasn't sure if he liked Wu SuYi but one thing he was sure about is that she had took his attention and nothing ever miss his grasp when it caught his attention.

After leaving the meeting with his good-for-nothing uncles, Han XiGuang's plan was to get home early before preparing himself to meet Wu SuYi.

No one could ever imagine he would be meeting her hours earlier than their promised date.

His smile appeared before he realized seeing her shadow. He was eager to meet her and to call up he name but in the next moment his eyes narrowed. He saw Wu SuYi struggling to release her fair wrist from a man's hold.

The man was taller than her. Although Wu SuYi wasn't short either, she appeared to be scared. Her body language was frantic, asking for help but the man in front of her turn a deaf ear to her plead, even going so by threatening her judging by his glowering gaze. It was rare to see such kind of expression on Wu SuYi's face when she was a tough lioness and needlessly to say, her fear caused a deep anger on Han XiGuang's heart.

No one should ever touch his woman that way. No one.

His long legs had mined its owned business when it strode toward the scene. He jerked the hand of the insolent bastard that had dragged Wu SuYi around as though she was his property. His grip tightened. Despite knowing the monstrous grip of his own fingers, Han XiGuang didn't go easy on the man and made sure to fracture his wrist.

The bastard glared back at him. Maybe he thought it would scare him. But Han XiGuang never fear a gun in front of his head, the bastard's glare was even less than an ant's bite. Instead, he glared back at the bastard, making him know that he was superior than him.

"Hands off," his stern word caused the bastard to release his hand but unknowingly he belatedly realized he had also startled Wu SuYi who flinched when hearing his murderous tone.

It was his plan to put a tender attitude in front of Wu SuYi. She was strong and tough but at the same time so fearful that a sight of him could sometimes scare her off. And scaring her off wasn't what he planned. Although this damn bastard had done the perfect opposite.

His grip tightened even more until the bastard raised his voice, "Who are you?! Release your hands first!"

Han XiGuang chuckled at the pathetic view when the bastard tried to pull his hand away but could never manage. Of course, he would never, not when the bastard appeared to spend most of his time at the office and with women while his work consist of mostly blood and violence.

"You don't treat women with rough attitudes. Anger issues can't be tolerated when you have raised your hand on someone innocent," Han XiGuang's authoritative tone gained Wu SuYi's entire attention.

"This is none of your business," JingYi stressed his words. What kind of finger was holding his hand?! It felt as though two iron bands had tightened around his wrist in the power of a bear! "This is mine and my family's business."

Han XiGuang raised his eyebrows when the bastard uttered the word family. He looked back at Wu SuYi who was still stunned. She snapped back to the reality whispering silently, "My older brother."

Han XiGuang shifted his gaze back to the man. He would be kind in occasion to meeting Wu SuYi's family. But the raw fear crossed her face told him this wasn't a mere sibling quarrel. This bastard had forced Wu SuYi into something she doesn't want to do.

But he made sure his guess by asking her, "Do you want to follow him?"

She shook her head at once and with that, she saw Han XiGuang's finger pushing JingYi away from her. The push seemed effortless but it had caused JingYi to roll on the floor, making an embarrassment of himself.

JingYi's face quickly turned red but Wu SuYi's attention was far from her brother's anger that affected her numerously due to her childhood scar, all she could see was Han XiGuang's face.

She was completely stunned.

To her, Han XiGuang was akin to her knight. The fear that had seized her disappeared instantly. She never expected to see him here and still doubted what she saw was real or her best imagination.

"Why are you here?" She questioned. It was real. Han XiGuang was right in front of her eyes.

"A business," Han XiGuang responded, turning his face to her. "I didn't expect to see you here but I am glad I came here and met you at the right time."
