A beam of sun ray went through the window and it woke a girl from her sleep. A new day started and as she looked around and spotted the clock. She realized that it was already late in the morning. She hurried and moved fast as she know that will be late for her first day of school. she ran down the halls of their house and check the food prepared by her mom and kissed goodbye to her dad. One thing that she will never let pass her by. Her cat "ming", she cuddles her always before leaving thier house. She ran outside and off to school with excitement to see her friends, favorite teachers and her crush.

A buzzer beater she is, the school gate almost closed, she got lucky coz the guard knows her as she already in her grade 10. She knows alot from the school personel, from guard to maintenance and faculty members. Now they will start the school introduction and orientation. she glanced at eveyone inside the gymnasium. She smile at everyone she know and got her thrills when she saw her crush. but someone caught her attention when she turned to her left side. There is a new student, he do not look at her but there was something different about the new student. Then as the teacher give a short introduction. A group of man walk in and stopped everyone. Then they stand in their midst and tell them to follow their instruction. As all students and teachers are scared because the man showed their guns.

But our heroine was not shaken, instead she stood at front and tell the man to stop threathening them. The leader of the group come close to her and asked for her name. Then she told her name as Emerald. Surprised by her bravery, the leader showed her a box and told her to open the box if she want to save everyone. Just as that she did not hesitate to follow and as just as she touched the box, it opened immediately without effort and a ring showed and went to her finger. everyone was amazed and the group of man, kneel and give reverence to her calling her Your Majesty, Princess Emerald.

She was shocked and told them that they are wrong, she tried to remove the ring, but it shine so bright and became a tatoo on her finger. The group bowed and disappeared at her sight leaving only the box. She picked it up ang looked at her sorrounding. But no one is looking at her as if nothing had happened. The only person looking at her is the new student. And it gives her a tensed feeling but she just shake it off.

And off she went to her classroom with her friends and classmates. The bell rings and it means that the class is about to start, and the door opened and Ms Gap entered the room and she entroduced the new student as Lyle. A foriegn exchange student from Europe. He entroduced himself as a simple student who prefer to study alone, and after talking he asked Ms Gap if he could sit next to Debbie. Then it was granted as he requested, which make Debbie curious about Lyle.

And as the class ends, Debbie talked to Lyle but she recieved no response from him. And it pissed her off, leaving him and decided to go home.
