I don't know what happened after I went unconscious other than hearing the faint sounds of sirens. I was taken to the local hospital with 3 broken ribs, a minor concussion, and a scar running from the lower left side of my abdomen to the upper right side of my chest. The doctors didn't have a single clue what happened to me and when asked all I could respond with was "I can't remember." I most definitely remembered but were these doctors really gonna believe me? What actually happened to me sounds so far fetched they would think I'm crazy. Despite all my broken bones and my concussion I didn't feel the pain. None at all which to me was surprising. I had a high pain tolerance but nothing like this before. What was going on with me? The doctors wanted to keep a close eye on me due to my concussion so I was forced to stay in the hospital. That night I had a really weird dream. I was alone in a very larger room that was so quiet I could hear my own heart beat. I looked around a little before noticing someone standing there. Just as I was going to run over to him I woke up. The weird part was I only had this dream once while I was in the hospital. Over the next few days the news reported on the attack of downtown as well as new reports that were surfacing. People were reporting seeing blue and red auras lighting up the night sky in the distance like fire works we're going off. Also reports had stated that houses were mysterious being burnt down and many of the lakes in town had been frozen over. That was really weird because even in the winter here lakes don't freeze over. If my past experiences had taught me anything then I knew something weird was going on. One night while I was still recovering in the hospital (although I was already fully healed) lights started to shine through the curtains of the window. To my surprise these lights were red and blue. I noticed flames in the distance too. What the hell was going on. I got up as fast as I could and ran to investigate what was going on. The lights were coming from across the lake. They appeared to be coming from.... My school?! I gasped in fear. I knew it had to either be that monster or that mysterious man from the other night. I knew I couldn't just let this happen what if he was setting up some kind of trap to hurt me or any of my friends at school. I closed my eyes and began to think to myself. If something was going on what would I do? Summon that sword or shield maybe but I really don't even know how I did it the first time. Either way I had to go, I had to protect everyone and myself. I grabbed a change of clothes my mother had left for me and ran out the door as fast as I could headed towards my school.
