Silence could be suffocating. Now, someone would argue otherwise, and I dare not to refute that argument. The feeling one would have towards silence depends greatly on the event associated with it. There was a reason why I would say, silence could be suffocating.
My back stiffened as I felt Eshan's eyes on me. As I sat there on the sofa, gazing at my feet, I didn't know what to feel. The thick silence hung in the air, predominantly. The simple act of breathing could be perceived as a tough challenge. It was as if some unknown force was pressing on my chest. My lungs constricted with a lack of oxygen. I was afraid to even move my finger a little bit.
